glunark
I have a bunch of old airsoft guns from the 90's, and 2000s that I used to collect when I was younger. Some are not airsoft, but were 1:1 scale models with model bullets, and magazines, but most are spring powered. I wont post any pictures just yet as I dont know if that would be breaking any rules, what with it being my first post. I just wondered if there would be any interest in them here from anyone, and how I would stand on a legal point of view if I tried to sell them. glunark
Ok, thanks, I guess if some of you are my age you might recognise some of these.
Russe11
Does the LAW actually fire anything? Oh and FYI, the law basically says that if you sell them, you must only sell Realistic imitation Firearms to re-enactors, film makers, airsofters etc. The best way to be sure is to ask for a UKARA number and check it on the UKARA web site. Supporters Del Monty Posted January 12, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 12, 2014 Lovely photo's, thanks for sharing. I likey the M16/203 you have there, would love an Airsoft version myself, when I have the money.
glunark
Thanks guys, the law fires a big polystyrene bomb. There are some more bits to that M203, but they are in a box in the attic I havent found yet, along with some more guns, because I know I had the robocop gun, and a 12 inch 44 magnum. Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 14, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 14, 2014 Take this to the classifieds section, please. That's what it's for. Just read the rules in the stickies, you'll be fine. Welcome to the forums

Paveway
Wow, that takes me back. Looks like what I used to build, pre airsoft, let alone GBB / AEG. Take it some are made by the company LS. My Python had the ivory grips and was a favourite, though i see you have an M29 44. Magnum. Had the AR15 and an AKMS. I inherited a few from my uncle back in the early eighties when some of his collection was damaged through moving home.
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 14, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 14, 2014 Best if you start again - your items will belong in different categories of the Classifieds - Guns For Sale > Electric Guns, Spring, Gas and Parts & Gear > Gear for non-firing replicas, i think (other mods?). Also the Classifieds is not the place to chat about items - we have strict rules about bumping threads, so chatting which is not specifically asking for/replying about details of items for sale is discouraged and/or deleted. By all means chat about your collection here though and you can place links here to your listings in the Classifieds too.

glunark
Thanks Ian, will sort something out later, just got in. Will have to take some new pictures as everything is just mixed in together, not that anything I have is gas powered.

You are brilliant, having googled LS they are indeed the company that made most of my earliest guns! Thanks! Found this. http://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/t192-ls-models?highlight=ls+models I have most of these.

Sorry to be a pain, but now that I have looked at your classified rules, I see nowhere where I can put the replicas that don't fire anything, the LS models, I can understand since this is an airsoft forum and they aren't airsoft, so if I cant sell them here that's fair enough. Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 14, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 14, 2014 Stick 'em in the Gear section under "Parts & Gear" - non-firing stuff can still be carried for the lolz and collecting replicas is part of airsoft holistically, i reckon - they're RIF's / you can practice quick draws / compare airsoft replicas to them / display them alongside your airsoft arsenal / etc. I mean it's not like PS3 games or car parts or something... glunark
I have a suspicion there is still another box in the attic somewhere, I definitely remember having a long barrelled cowboy gun, peacemaker rings a bell, and I doubt it would have had a box of its own, so there maybe more too.
