spleyland Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Hey everyone, Just wanted to say hello. I'm a new player and looking to get stuck into a few airsoft sites around Wiltshire/Hampshire/Dorset area. Quite like the look of Ground Zero and a site at Matchams (Ringwood) that are just starting to do regular walk on days, run in association with A1 Airsoft - looks quite interesting. Not sure if anyone knows of any other decent locations? Would be keen to meet any local players for some tips as I fumble my way around the basics (I live in Salisbury at the moment). Also wanted to say thank you for being so welcoming so far and for the contributors for putting up some top notch tutorials and guides. As a previous poster said, it's really one of those hobbies where you can spend hours just browsing all the kit. Sam
Suzuki Yamamoto Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Welcome to the forums and i've been browsing kit for years, not just hours!
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 8, 2014 Supporters Posted January 8, 2014 Welcome to the forums, Sam Browsing kit is a major part of this sport/hobby anytime I have to wait for something, out comes the phone and a few mins later the wallet is cringing
Cheeky vimto Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I've been skint ever since I discovered this hobby!
Suzuki Yamamoto Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I'm in the process of trying to sell my Golf clubs and gear to fund more gun purchases.
Baz JJ Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Someone on Facebook the other day describing owning Airsoft guns as a Barby doll for men. You spend a lot of time dressing it up and buying outfits.
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 11, 2014 Supporters Posted January 11, 2014 Now there's something I'd like to see... a Barbie with a Polarstar engine in it!
