So, I'm a new player (still heading towards my UKASA registration). I've bought boots and mask – and I've selected what gun I'm going to get, as well as chest rig and batterys. Well what else can you do but window shop until you registration?.

So now I need to source the best mags for me. I'm going to get an ICS L85 and I don't want to use the highcaps that come with.

So does anyone have experience with midcaps fitting/not fitting their ICS L85? Which manufacture's midcaps rattle, jam or fit like a glove?

Which brands should I use or avoid?

I've already got a couple of recomendations but I'd just like to get a few opinions.

I have used my MAG mags in various STANAGs fitting rifles and never had a problem with fitment or feeding

You should ask Ed on that one, I believe he has an ICS L85 ;)

Genuine Magpul PTS Emags. They are fantastic quality and feed in every gun i have every trie them in.

They are not cheap (£20 each!) but its worth the extra for the quality.

Same goes for the PMAGs.

So guys have you tried MAG and Magpul PTS mags in an ISC L85?

Get the lonex lash mags there best for a gun like that 20 pound and a five second winding time for the whole 360 rounds!
