Kaza66 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 So, after my sling broke at airsoft yesterday, I was wondering, what sling would you guys recommend. My previous one was only a cheap one I don't even remember where I got it from.Ideally I'd want a sling where I can just drop my gun, draw my secondary without having to worry about my rifle bashing things as I run. Any recommendations?
Junglespy Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 An MS2 or a One Point Bungee (This) would be a good shout.
Kaza66 Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Cheers, what about those ones that clip onto your vest, how do they work?
PhillipR34 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I got a magpul MS2 off for £10 and it's really solid. I think it could be fake but it doesn't bother me http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251299691623?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Junglespy Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Most "clip" ones really just thread through the loops on the shoulder straps and hang in front of you, it means you don't have the fabric running against your neck. You can just get a T bar style MOLLE clip (This) if that's what you're after, though.

Junglespy Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Simply threads through (usually) the top row of MOLLE on your Rig and then attaches to the sling point on your weapon. It's a fixed length so not that many people use them from what I've seen.
Tariq Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Ive just wrapped a single point bungee sling like you would attach the molle mounted ones. Means it is adjustable
Supporters Lozart Posted July 22, 2013 Supporters Posted July 22, 2013 How about a three point convertible sling? Single point slings do let your primary flail about when you're not holding it, if it's a long weapon it may well end up banging about into your knees etc. Spectre gear have some good videos on how their particular sling work The Viper tactical sling works in much the same way as the 3 point one in the video but costs significantly less!
