-Marksman
Will most courier services post airsoft guns without any problems? Im going to be using myhermes & they have a category section where you choose what the parcel your sending is, I've put it as sporting goods. Think this will go through without any problems? RR01
Depends if you are sending out of the country or not. DHL definitely wont. If it needs to be flown anywhere then, as it would go through customs screening, even within the UK, it's likely to get stopped and either confiscated or refused if it contravenes their carriage conditions. The Post Office and Parcel Force are obliged to deliver them within the UK as it's a condition of their licence to operate, but Parcel Force will not send them out of the UK. I believe UPS will take them within the UK. The easiest thing is check with one of the UK on-line retailers as to who they use for deliveries. bigshep
Post office are required to ship air rifles and gun parts, including rif's or If's.....however if they are larger than their new stupid rules then you are stuffed. Parcel force do not have to ship guns, unless you are a retailer. So if its damaged by the parcel monkeys you get no compensation from them. However I would class them as toys rather than sporting goods, but have a look at my hermes t&c and I bet you will not be covered for shipping replica weapons.
