glock
Does anyone have any ideas for game scenarios. I have anything from 3 to 8 players and a plot of woodland that is a mile long but only 200 metres wide. i'm looking for skirmish ideas where small teams work in a narrow strip of land where its hard to pass another team unoticed. all any ideas would be appreciated. Tariq
Have played a game where its a free-for-all. Everyone starts with said number of armbands, one you're killed the killer comes and "medics" you. He takes one of your arm bands and you put it on him. You go off to re-spawn and he goes on his way. Respawn was anywhere on the outer walls, so free choice of spawn. Players meant to be staying away from spawn camping. (taylor to your own site) Player with most armbands wins
the-sarge84
How about capture the flag with limited re spawn. Flag starts in middle
glock
capture the flag type games can get a bit dull in a confined space with so few players. the free for all with armbands sounds like a good crack, i'll be trying that one out... magicaldr
Played a rather cool, Bank Robber game you may be able to adapt. We had a day with very few players last year so the marshall pulled this out and it was extremely fun. Key thing is that its quick games, repeated over and over, not one long slog. Fast pace keeps things interesting as you each try to outdo the last team. Time the games and the bank robbers who last the longest 'win'. You need a 'Bank' we had a 3m x 3m square building with door and largish windows (knocked up of basic ply, usual site building style). However pallets, cardboard, pile of tyres or few well placed logs could build a suitable 0.5m barricade that the robbers can hide behind. Game has robbers, hostage (normally acting as marshall) and special forces. Robbers (2 or 3) go to the bank. No regen, 1 mag only of whatever they normally use, full auto. Based on robbers being reckless, but not expecting trouble. So you only have the 1 clip with you... Special forces regen some distance from bank so they don't just "regen swarm" the robbers but plan. Special forces are limited to single shot, since they are the best of the best... Hostage can only be shot by special forces (be a bit easy otherwise). They have to stand as directed by the robbers. Each time they are hit by a BB they randomly pull a special forces person to join the 'robbers'. So dont shoot the hostage... (Yes robbers can hide behind their hostage and still shoot back). Supporters Ian_Gere Posted January 3, 2013 Supporters Share Posted January 3, 2013 Unlimited regen attack vs rolling defence is always good. The attackers' regen keeps pace with their advance, either an established series of positions which become active once overrun, or a marshal following behind. Hit defenders must fall back by either a set distance, say 25m, or to established lines to regen and then cannot go forward of that point. Limited defender lives give a definite end point, ie all defenders out of lives, and the time taken for the attackers to beat defenders is compared when roles are switched. Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted January 3, 2013 Supporters Share Posted January 3, 2013 1 mile by 200m is a bloody massive game area! You need more people. What Tariq described sounds like a game I've heard of called Vampire mode. Everyone starts off alone. Each person they hit stands still until someone tags them. The person that tags them, gains them as a team mate. Until eventually, there's only 1 team, consisting of everyone playing. At which point obviously, the game ends.
