Supporters Liam Porter Posted September 25, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 25, 2012 I know that everyone recommends TM for pistols, and I would get a TM M9 as my Glock and my mate's Mk23 are amazing. But the TM M9 doesn't have adjustable hop, which is a must for me. I also have other important preferences when choosing a pistol: adjustable hop good gas efficiency reputable brand realistic trades - not airsoft trades Any suggestions from experience, rather than seeing something thatmatches on a website would be good. Thank you.

Thank you. That's a darn tall order to get from a stock gun. However, I owned the best pistol in the world (ok a little exaggeration!) but it was a Socom Gear (WE) M9 S.O.F. in tan. It had lovely looks for sure. Then the internals were replaced by Nineball parts. And despite being full metal, worked perfectly in the snow with great reliability and gas usage. That had all the things you want- except required a base gun and then full upgrades. However, I am afraid from my experience- the TM M92F is the closest to your specs, despite having "TM" engraved onto the slide in a lovely, but airsoft slide design. The fixed hop unit shouldn't be much of an issue- it is a CQB weapon afterall.

Gecko
Well as far as I know Western Arms still hold the licensing for Beretta so if you want the official markings you need one of them. I own 2 WA Beretta M92F Elites and despite being 10 years old now are still awesome. They kick hard an look good but on the down side are expensive an currently i need some replacement parts which are proving hard to find in the UK. Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted September 26, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 26, 2012 If your site allow CO2 pistols then you could get the KJW CO2 M9, that's nice and realistic, kicks like a mule on steroids and I think you can get a version that has realistic trades. The standard one is blank and since it's compatible with CO2 you can use it all year round with no problems at all.
