First night op - tips

I bought some small but decent battery operated infer-red operated lights (also got ones that do noises rather than lights)... they come on when people walk past them and I usually set them up on known choke points to eliminate them going off for no reason (sometimes animals can set them off but I've never had a case of that happening...) have a look on eBay for things, even the most insignificant thing can sometimes be a big help!

Yellow tints work ok during dusk, but at proper night time they just reduce the amount of blue light getting into your eyes. Since you pretty much see in black and white in the dark you want as much light as possible getting in. Clear lenses are the way forward when it's properly dark.
only played two night games at GMA Tuddenham, both with work colleagues.....it was fun, they all enjoyed it and im sure you will as well at that site :)

both game nights i used tracer rounds so they knew where i was to shoot at, also the PEQ light and laser helped them aim at me better!.....if you want your team to see you, get one of those light up dog colors and put it on your arm :) ....yeah we used them as well!

seriously though, i play there once a month and i still would need some form of light to see where im going at times, my boss ran past me, avoided the rubble and barrel but tripped over the tires!.

also, as above, i switched from yellow to clear lenses :)

you'll have fun though!
Took all the advice on this on board and bought Bolle Raider ballistic glasses which come with clear, smoke and yellow. Prescription insert adapts for all three came back from the opticians yesterday.

Got the yellow lenses fitted at the moment, will be able to switch over to clear at some point in the evening when the time calls.
