Night Games

I remember the urban assault night games at RAF upwood, before anyone really could get, let alone afford, night vision. They were intense, creeping around pitch black buildings, big stretching shadows, wary of going into any moonlight, intense fire fights which were often over in seconds, any spec of light was telling....the pure adrenaline pumping of it all! They were so different to what it's like now.

Back in the hay days (with my rose tinted glasses on) id do 10+ Stirling events a year + 4-5 night games and the odd extra one off events. It did allow me to get in the groove of using it and became much more proficient, now I'm like a bumbling fool, it's a very perishable skill.

I can understand it from an event organisers point of view, it's another 4-5 hours of work for an event that is shorter (so cheaper) and attracts less than half a day game, after a long day of running a site and there's always moaners.....I can understand why the hassle of it isn't worth it for the money it generates.
