  1. Air voids are fairly normal on lower-end (and some mid range) BB's. To be frank, why are you using Nuprol (well known for their quality issues) in the first place? I mean no disrespect when I say this, but you have a very expensive selection of blasters from what I have seen, I would have assumed you would be using absolute top-drawer BBs from the very outset.
  2. Never used Nuprol BB's, probably never will. I was chatting with one of the guys at Z1 showroom a few years back, trying to glean who the OEM is for their Blitz BBs. He obviously wouldn't divulge, but he did say that there only a very small number of Airsoft BB factories in Taiwan, and many of the big names have their BB's produced in the same factories as the smaller/cheaper/nastier companies. Much like Christmas Puddings in the UK (with only one or two major factories supplying every supermarket), it's all down to the buying companies' specification and budget. Knowing Nuprol, it's probably at the very lowest end of the quality/cost scale that they can get away with.
  3. I keep meaning to pick up a PTS enhanced stock for one of guns. Can't fault the quality of PTS' Plastics.
  4. Cool Beans. £90 for the genuine kit, a dremel and a bit of spare time is good value compared to Daves Custom Airsoft version - £69 for what is still ultimately a £10 ACM knockoff.
  5. Got any example pictures to whet one's appetite?
  6. Hall effect sensors are not really new to shooting sports - There was a paintball gun that used them on their triggers back in 2001 - the Airgun Designs E-Mag. God, I wanted one so bad back in the day - if you think Airsoft is an expensive sport.... I really like what I've seen and heard about Perun so far: excellent customer service, reasonable prices and constantly innovating with interesting products. I just picked up a Combat Machine with ETU, I'll be ordering a Perun ETU++ before the gun is fielded for the first time.
  7. Very nice @miserydrift Is this bit clamped to the trigger? I don't see any screw holes around the board. Waaait a minute - are they using a hall effect sensor now? Is that a magnet on the trigger?
  8. That looks pretty cool. Nice one.
  9. It'll be like an itch you can't quite scratch until you've upgraded everything...you know it...😜 *Edit* @Adolf Hamster Is that your JG AK?
  10. Looks like it's got quite a bit of new functionality. If the price is right - a Gate Titan killer perhaps? and without the paid-for Firmware 'Upgrades' that Gate like to charge you for. Very interesting. Lucky bugger....😜
  11. Interesting. I can't find any pics of this new one, so if you could post some later it would be much appreciated.
  12. What's with the 'Hybrid'? Is it a new version of the Mosfet? If so, got any pics of the unit itself?
  13. The balance logic is better for starters. In the interest of fairness - there are newer versions of the B6 too, notably the new (unreleased) B6EVO, however it's generally the original version (and more likely the numerous cheap knockoff clones) that seem to be readily available on the likes of Amazon and eBay. Right now, you can buy an 'Imax' B6AC for £25 to £27 on eBay. The word 'genuine' appears nowhere in the listings and most are inferior clones. A genuine unit, from a reputable UK retailer, can cost over £40 for the AC version. Or you can pay £32 for the S65. I'll take the S65 thanks. 😉
  14. Oh FFS no. SkyRC S65 - better for less money. On another note - I feel slightly triggered by your username @ReySkywalker. Surely it should be Rey Palpatine...😜
  15. Forgot to mention, you can soak the area in penetrating oil and leave it for a few hours. I'm not talking about standard WD40 (although there's WD40 branded penetrating oil), you can get the stuff from Halfords.
  16. Have you made sure there's no grub screws under the sling loop? Sometimes one gets hidden under it by the manufacturer. If so, you'll need to punch out the sling loop which can be tricky with some pins because they have been riveted/flattened on the end. Edit #1: It doesn't appear that there is one on G&Ps - but it's still worth checking. I would use a chunky flat punch and start gently tapping the FSP forward from the bayonet lug and the bands around the barrel. https://www.toolstation.com/pin-punch-set/p44554?store=PH&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=googleshoppingfeed&gclid=CjwKCAiA4rGCBhAQEiwAelVti2fsrtdivj4qHJH5tQFm7VqwoJlva-Bezmg1hTFpJwTn9DbAOg0tRhoC2k4QAvD_BwE Edit #2: On real steel ARs, they just use a soft faced mallet to knock the thing off.
  17. Not just on Z1: Then, there's this: £240 gun new - check £40 Nuprol Tracer - check a crappy extra mag - Priceless and some left over meh (at best) BBs. And a couple of batteries So the guy effectively wants damned near full retail back. Could of at least cleaned the gun before the photos.
  18. I would do that, but unfortunately I have to take two teenage sons with young legs and lots of energy - means I have to play the whole day. Quite handy though - I send them on suicide missions and first into buildings. Saves me getting shot too much.
  19. I run a metal gun in the morning and a lightweight plastic gun in the afternoon because...well...I'm lazy (seriously).
