  1. Hi All I went outfit my first game with my new G&G T4-18 Gen2 last Saturday. The RIF looks an feels great. However it is underpowered. When chrono'd it came out at 298 with .2's. At there is s distinct lack of distance compaired to those I was playing wit and against. I know the gun is new and will take some time to bed in but if I'm correct IT won't get any more powerful. I played with the hop a fair bit but this just ended up with the same lack of real useful distance of with the bb flying straight then shooting vertical from mid flight. I tried .25's and it went a little further and more steady but still achieved the same results. So my question is three fold. Do I upgrade the spring to get it nearer 350, replace the hop or let it all bed in? Or maybe all? Thanks in advance. Frosty
  2. Just got back. Battery ran faultless all day no need to recharge at lunch. Very pleased with it an glad I didn't give up on it last night.
  3. I put it on again this morning as soon as my son woke me up with the thought that I had two hours before I leaver so should be ok. Left it for half an hour and had two lights. Then not 5 mins later it went three lights. Thanks all for your help on this.
  4. Not got a multimeter. Will put it on again in the morning. It's had about 2 1/2 hours tonight will give it another couple if hours in the morning before I set off to play.
  5. Giving up for the night. Starting to think I've been sold a dud.
  6. There is the mini Tanya cone to for the RIF. Which obviously does not fit. I have then plugged in the other white connector into the charger. I have put this in the three pin female socket as this is a three pin male pin clip. The charger is warm and the batteries are cold.
  7. Samurai. Thanks for that, mine isn't flashing just showing a constant green on one light and constant red on the other two. Nothing flashing.
  8. It's not s balancing charger it's the compact. The battery is a nunchuck
  9. I'm charging my LiPo for the first time. I've attached it to the charger and the charger is showing that one cell is charged and cell 2&3 are not. Annoyingly there were no instructions in the box and the WE website is down. The charger is the WE L3 compact LiPo charger. Any help would be great I font fancy burning the house down tonight.

  13. Altberg Defenders for me. After smashing my shins to peices in the army a good set of boots were top of my list. Really pleased with them. Good support, nice and soft and no hot spots. £25 pound on eBay, can't recom them enough!
  14. Thanks for that info. It is high on my list. I just couldn't stretch the budget any further this month.
  15. This is the charger: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/WE-L3-LIPO-BATTERY-CHARGER-8070.html And I'm pretty sure this is the battery: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/Nuprol-3000mAh-7.4v-20c-LiPo-Nunchuck-8062.html

  17. Forgot to get knee pads though.
  18. So I got my UKARA stamped, went to Pro Airsoft Supplies yesterday and am now the owner of a G&G T4-18 gen2. Very much looking forward to Saturday. I also have a LiPo and charger. Roughly how long will it take to charge as I know you shouldn't leave them too long and need to plan ahead?
  19. Look on the Internet for your closest site. Turn up, have fun make new friends with a common interest. Simples
  20. Too much choice full stop really. Not enough time in my day for all this internet window shopping. I've just been looking on e hobby Asia. Are they ok to use? I get all the deal with importing it's just knowing if they are trustworthy.
  21. I'm alright for gear just need some knee pads (I'm not as young as I used to be) and gloves. Got most of my surplus stuff off of eBay. It's just the guns and accessories that go with them as you've all mentioned above that I need. My site is a dense woodland setting either various settings and objectives one of which is a large single shot CQB area. A side arm is not a must have but I will look to get one.
  22. There is a lot out there to buy and I could boost the economy no end.
