  1. MP5 / Glock are “roughly” the same size. - hicapa is different but not far off. Perhaps look for elasticated versions?
  2. Bring £10 extra with you, and just buy bb's at the site "if" you need them. Worry less about first game prep and just have fun! Waste ammo! Save ammo when you end up spending £100's on the sport later haha. Enjoy!
  3. No sorry, I've been in touch with most UK shops about the sizings for their trousers. I think I'll be needing custom work done (or wear gaiters haha).
  4. Q: Can anyone direct me to somewhere I could get CADPAT trousers ina long leg size (34" inner or above)? Alternatively can anyone put me in contact with someone who makes custom gear surplus or airsoft? Cheers
  5. I cannot unsee this now... what have you done?!
  6. So long as it follows the standard frame and slide shape, a regular holster without a bottom should work fine. i.e. - Nuprol Hicapa holster.
  7. It looks like the barrel is sagging a slight bit, if possible maybe put a solid barrel spacer in near to the end to keep it straighter? (That is unless it's a trick of the mind!).
  8. I have one 10 minutes form my work, wander in, fill up 2 48ci tanks and I'm gone pretty quick haha. I only use HPA for GBBR's and pistols so I'm not pumping out 1000's of rounds, enough to warrant a scuba to fill me up during the day. I would suggest play a few games and see what air you're at after, if you're running low by the end or mid way then perhaps a scuba could be a good investment.
  9. Very true, some dive shops don't like HPA tanks, the one's that fill from large tanks probably won't, but those with compressors should be fine.. Worst case, buy a scuba tank and get that filled no problems.
  10. Dive shops and some paintball sites if you didn't already know. You'll need a fill station if it didn't come with one also.
  11. 2 HPA tanks, 2 regulators and 3 lines, 1 setup for running dual line. Planning to run with PTS MKM GBBR & TM Hi-Capa, maybe pics to follow...
  12. Not sure about the nozzle but if you use a weak/stock nozzle with a 140% recoil spring it can shatter the nozzle quick. Perhaps the same can be said (however slower over time) for a 180% nozzle return spring? - Could be a worth a test
  13. Anyone know where I can get a steel buffer lock for a PTS MKM (KWA LM4)?
Mine's so worn it works 10% of the time.

  14. You're not wrong, they are shit. And so were the gen 1 SWAT VTG's, however they came out with an upgraded one a while back. May be worth your while ordering a couple from SWAT?
  15. Fair one mate, but I would reload when Sunday comes around instead of waiting.
  16. I mean.. I don't want to be rude by being sarcastic but it takes 2 seconds to fill them and empty them.. Pistol mag springs are rather thin, so the sprung metal will be more susceptible to compression issues, I would empty them if I were you, and also ask why you filled them up before you went? I don't want to shout wrong info or say I know for sure, but when I started out 5 years ago I was told it's illegal to travel with a loaded airsoft magazines. Again cannot remember but just empty dude saves less issues.
  17. Leaving BB's in any spring magazine (AEG mid caps and of course pistol mags) for a day or two will have very little impact. However if you leave them full and the spring compressed for say weeks, they will likely compress permanently and lose strength to push out some of the last bb's. If you're asking because you have done this, fill the mag to full and fire the bb's out and see if you can finish all the bb's in the mag. If you haven't done this, I would recommend that you don't But again some mags may not be used for the whole game day so most usually have around 8 hours compressed and will work fine for months to come (will eventually have an effect but takes a long time). They can be stretched if this happens, or replaced for very cheap.
  18. Hop up wheel is fairly straight forward, the arrow to the front is off, the arrow to the back is full. Hicapas all that I've seen work best at around 55% It's quite easy to test.. set the hop, shoot at a long range target and watch the bb, if it's too much, try the other way and vise versa.
  19. One does not exist that I know of, you can easily go to maybe 5 popular retailer sites and look at the brand list, from there go to each brand's own website for a full list start to end of all guns. Might I ask what this is for? To make one sounds like it would be a waste of time.
  20. Wording's a little confusing but from what I can make out, to see what is compatible red dot to magnifier, you have to just know what it is you're after and the type. If you look online most magnifier will be for Eotechs, others for aimpoint red dots, and then some "might" work with other sights but are best for the previously listed. Just look at the image and if it looks like the one used (perhaps in a google image search) as ones people use with the preferred sight of your choice, then go for it.
  21. I got to fire one at the weekend (indoors but still) firstly HOLY BUJEEEESUS is it heavy! Fairly snappy too, not too different from any other mid-high tier AEG, but the body feels amazing, the old stamped steel just feels fun to use, fitted mags with no wobble! I would class this as a very collector style gun, however it does perform very well and would be a nice platform for a DMR build.
  22. Does your srubby suppressor make it as quiet as the stock one? One of the only Airsoft guns that would benefit from proper noise profile suppressive techniques!
  23. Should be easy to remove, just make sure it's all off before you respray! (there's guides to do a good job)
  24. Possibly from patrol base? - They do darker red, green and blue two tones. However it can be often rushed, thick layers of paint that haven't dried properly.. it comes off stupid easy as a result though so that's handy haha
  25. Congrats and welcome (officially now you're rambo'd up) to the sport!
