  1. Hi Guys, Not seen much info on this, seems like a new site that opened before Christmas but I think with covid it has flown under the radar for me. Been looking for some weeknight games that isn't just super tight CQB and have only had Halo Mill or the Department within an hour or so. Hells airsoft has Friday night games and is only a short drive from work. Anyone here checked this out? https://hellsairsoft.wixsite.com/my-site-1
  2. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

As title says, would love some of the short mags for the mp5k. Want to avoid Taiwangun at the moment, but that seems the only place to stock.

    NO VALUE SPECIFIED

  3. A great practical bit of kit, especially from PB at £9 and most likely the solution to all current and future mounting issues. But form always takes precident over function and that is, as stated, goppy af. I love the os SAS style of the mp5k, Rogerborg this looks great, nearly the top heavy maglight stegosaurus we crave. Fantastic info on the Galaxy too, thank you very much. I have currently just got it stock with a 7.4 lipo but as you say the trigger feels a little sloppy. Will look into motors. I have put some electrical tape under the slide hop as I have heard this was an issue.
  4. Hi All, I picked up a cheap Galaxy mp5k to have a go at some CQB (usually play woodland and most of the rifles are too hot/unsuitable for indoor fields) This is the standard no frills/no rails version. What have people seen as a solution to mount a flashlight onto this bad boy? The options I have come across: 1 - Gaffa 2 - Drill and mount a small section of rail to the handguard 3 - top rail + canted side mount rail Any suggestions?
  5. Accuracy on my SRC m4 is pretty awful and the hop up just does not seem right compared to other rifles I have fired (slips, wont hold adjustment, hope rubber inside barrel is at slight angle etc.). It does however have a two piece hop, replacement units are available (from marui I think) but I would much rather get a one piece in there that wont be such a pita to find. Any details on how to convert/what to cut to get a one piece into the receiver? Thoughts on this decision would be highly appreciated as I am still unsure. Are there more budget friendly, reliably units out there? Am I looking in the wrong place and should I focus on upgrading the barrel and bucking? Cheers
  6. Sorry to revive this, any details on how to modify the reciever to take a one piece hop? Could be worth a try as the accuracy on this thing is truly horrific and tm units are rather scarce, might take a second look at the bucking. Cheers EDIT: created new thread as this question has no relevance to title
  7. Well it works now, I recon something just realigned when I shook it up a bit. I might replace the hop as it really doesn't want to play ball, very stiff, won't change easily and seems quite cheap anyway.
  8. Haha I have heard! Seems to be solid enough, should get me through a few games. Cheers for the help guys.
  9. Sorted. Turns out that hop up unit in this is made of poo. One of the wee cogs was poorly moulded and was filled in between the teeth not allowing the hop to be turned on. Even now after filing that off the hop is pretty poor. I think I know what I am upgrading first!
  10. As I said, I bought this second hand off here. I have stripped the gun down, piston seems to work fine and the nozzle is in it's normal position. I removed the hop/barrel assembly and noticed that it is impossie to turn the hop on with the wheels however it can be turned on by pressing down on the top. This makes me think the wheels are jammed in place? Should I strip the hop further or is it something that might be replaced?
  11. Doesn't do much. That said my hop wheel only seems to be able to turn about 180o, is this a problem?
  12. So I just bought an SRC m4 plastic series second hand and am having issues with it. When loading the fully wound hi cap magazine it unwinds itself and about 10-15 pellets roll out the barrel. When winding the magazine in the gun it simply feeds them straight into the gun and they just dribble out the end. When I remove the magazine I have one pellet which is successfully chambered and that shoots fine. I am not sure what is going on here, any advice? Cheers
  13. There were some guys on youtube that made some awesome armour from foamboard and made a cheesy short about sci fi people using painted nerf guns. I would love to rock up to a skirmish dressed like that, looks fairly easy to make.
  14. I am based Hill Head way, nr. Gosport. Seems like an awesome site, will have to check it out if I can get up there, when do you guys start running evening games?
  15. Hi all, Looking to get into airsoft properly after giving it a bash last summer. Exams are over and I have been looking for something new and exciting to do now academic commitments are off the cards for a while. I am a cyclist at heart and that burns quite a large hole in the wallet so getting geared up for airsoft on a tight budget should be interesting! I hope to be playing at Combat South woodland/urban and maybe at some of the UCAP sites. Hopefully there are some members around here I can get to know! Should be getting some decent gear soon and jumping in. Cheers guys!
  16. Most of the time I have seen people do this is shooting over cover, your only really exposing a small portion of your head and it is much easier to get up/down. An aeg does not have any substantial recoil and using the sights is not always necessary. I think it's fair for people to hold their guns however they like to get the best position/angle as long as it's not just plain blind firing and the weapon is under control.
