  1. Got a few mid-cap mp5 magazines, and a hi-cap one to replace a faulty mag.
  2. Damn, sounds like hell - hope you can continue skirmishing later on. That Pink M4 is awesome.
  3. Cheers for the extra info fellas; all I need now is some goggles that fit my glasses and I'll be good to go.
  4. Ive seen a few PAYDAY loadouts around the internet. Looked pretty cool.
  5. By 'West Midlands', I'm referring to the county of the West Midlands (consists of Sandwell, Walsall, Birmingham, Coventry, etc). I wouldn't mind venturing out into neighbouring counties though, if the site is good.
  6. Hey all, it's been a while since I was last here (exams got in the way), but now I finally have time to start getting into airsoft again. I've been in search of a site in the West Midlands region, but all of them offer pretty much the same things, and since I have zero experience in airsoft, I thought it would be best to come back here and ask you guys (and girls?) what sites you know of that stand out from others. Any reply will be much appreciated
  7. German Flecktarn Issue Field Shirt, Olive Replica PASGT Helmet, Flecktarn PASGT Helmet Cover. Image was taken from a mobile, sorry 'bout the quality.
  8. Eh. I think it'll depend on how good your grouping is. Many shots in the eye socket may eventually do some pretty bad damage to the Zed's.
  9. Just bought a rail for my red/green dot to go on. https://db.tt/7sN7VsoN - Rail. https://db.tt/CQKYoDer - Rail and Sight. The flash makes the two tone look more hideous than it actually is...
  10. Just read up on a topic about "CODsofters". It's not as rare as you think. I just hope to hell my ArmA instincts don't take over, and make me act like a tit, shouting "Rifleman, 100 meters, East." every time I see a guy on the other team. EDIT: Saying this, is there a generally accepted way to talk to and act around others whilst skirmishing without looking like a guy who spends too much of his time on video games?
  11. ...people actually attempt that? Jesus...
  12. Imo, as long as they're safe whilst using them, then I have no problems with how they hold it. I myself control mine as if it were real steel, but i've seen people hipfiring on youtube, and one person even holding their pistol sideways, mafia-style. It does look a hell of a lot better with people who use their guns properly, but whatever floats your boat I guess.
  13. Anyone mind explaining to the newbie what MOLLE is and why it's better than fixed pouches?
  14. I'll look into it, dependant on the face mask I get, cheers.
  15. I guess it wouldn't really work much anyway, considering the goggles and all will stick out like a sore thumb. I already have some cream anyway for cadet weekends. I agree, it itches like hell.
  16. I was just wondering, is there anybody that uses cam cream or face paint of some sorts in their loadout? In CQB you would obviously look like a bit of a twat, but in woodland games, would it be of any effect?
  17. I'm just going by what I can visibly see on the box and booklet - not that I don't believe you.
  18. The paint isn't really a problem. It'll have to be twotoned, and then painted again at a later date. Thanks for the heads up, anyway. I'll look into G&G - maybe I'll get an L85 / SA80 from there instead

    2 tone

I wouldn't see anyone complaining over it. The most it will do is make it under limit by a couple percent, however all of the tone would most likely be visible anyway. There's not much chance the police would take interest anyway, as long as you don't go waving it around in the open.
  20. I'm guessing Umarex developed it. In the booklet that came in the box, the only copyright holders are that of H&K and Umarex. H&K could have helped in some way, as it's not exactly a small company. Then again, I'm not the expert, so it could very well be the case you are pointing out.
  21. So, I'm going with two_zero's advice about A backup AEG (which I can eventually use with a Royal Marine / UKSF / British Army loadout when I make my mind up. I'm thinking of an M4 - anyone have an idea what CAA is like as a brand? https://jdairsoft.net/assault/0/asg-caa-tactical-m4-carbine-fde is the exact gun in question.
  22. Is this a good event to go to for first-time newbies? EDIT: just saw reece's post - ignore this
  23. Just saying. I mean, if H&K are willing to put their brand on a product, then it has to have a somewhat decent quality, regardless of their knowledge (I think they also helped the designer of the airsoft version in producing them). As with all wholesalers such as Umarex, bad produce will always find a way into the market. It's inevitable - just offering that second choice incase the OP doesn't like G&G, so that he can look into it
  24. Mine has official Heckler & Koch approval: They have some decent starter guns for around £100 - £150. Most of what they sell are also two-tone, so OP wouldn't need to have a gun sprayed. I'm not too familiar with G&G so I can't really compare.
