  1. Great looking site, so much potential. Shame bit far for me :-(
  2. haha I've seen some of the Jingles vids - nice chap. For me first played paintball at 15 1989 I think, loved it for years but was too expensive looking back. Got into airsoft 10 years ago now - just don't have the time now to play as much as I'd like. Enjoy it while you can....
  3. Sorry to hear about the medical condition, as Bob Hoskins once said "It's good to talk", I for one enjoy your posts so please keep them up and hope you get better soon :-)
  4. Nice explanation Ian - how on earth do you find the time! :-)
  5. Sure Ian, I'd gladly have you down as a V3 reviewer :-) AK's don't get enough loving.... It will probably be motors, gears, pistons and cylinders in regard to seeing how well they work in 3rd party gearboxes etc. I'll be sure to keep you informed.
  6. Cheers Lambster. I'm due to put in my re-order with ZCI next week so hopefully get a closer look on how their motors and gears have progressed. I'm trying to get them to provide free samples that I can give away to the community in exchange for reviews.
  7. All depends on how much money you want to burn or what you really want to achieve. One of the keys to making a high speed gearbox is getting the shimming and AOE correct with of course the correct parts, potentially lots of trial and error before you get it correct but it's all part of the fun :-)
  8. Glad it all worked out for you. Those were my very last SHS High Speed gears as well! :-) Trying to get in touch with SHS for re-order but they are an absolute nightmare! Never return emails, never send the correct stock..... They seriously lack any customer support, guessing they are just busy and push the smaller orders to the bottom of the pile.
  9. It's not a license but a defense! And UKARA is one but many ways to buy a RIF :-)
  10. Phew, making me feel old, I consider retro gaming to be Spectrum and C64 :-)
  11. Hi Ian My prices aren't too far from the HK prices and some cases the same...So far I've found CORE and ZCI gears offer pretty good value. Here's what I can do for the forum members...If interested message me online and I'll get back to you. All SHS Supershooter gears for £23 all in 1st class, same or next day delivery. http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=shs%20gear All CORE gears for £16 all in 1st class, same or next day delivery. http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=core%20gear All ZCI CNC 3mm shaft gears for £17 all in 1st class, same or next day delivery. http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=zci%203mm All ZCI CNC 4mm shaft gear sets for £20 all in 1st class, same or next day delivery (these include bushings and shims and reenforced 4mm shaft) http://www.ak2m4.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=zci%204mm Personally I've been really impressed with the ZCI gears, but also haven't been able to fault the CORE or SHS one's yet.
  12. Lambster, I've got some CORE 13:1 gears in stock or 16:1 in SHS SuperShooter. Hopefully will be restocking SHS by the end of June. Send me a message and I'll sort you out with a price.
  13. I've 20 or so clones in stock right now, (ordered 6 months ago) I can say that all are missing the SHOT MEMORY feature. I've had a few orders of clones in the past several years and not one of them has this feature. However my clones may be clones or another clone. Could be a lot of clones out there :-) Craig does sell his ones real cheap though...
  14. One problem smaller retailers have is that some wholesale suppliers only accept orders for $1000 - $2000 plus, any less and they just won't bother with you. I certainly wouldn't have waited a year to order a CA870 from ZeroOne, surely you could have ordered it from abroad?
  15. Welcome Richie....First thing to learn about airsoft is that there's no such thing as a UKARA license or any license needed to buy - what you need is a 'defence'. There's some threads around which explain it much better than I could - defiantly worth a read.
  16. Nice little find this - very useful
  17. Cheers Nick. Glad you're getting on with the X3200. Thanks for the nice mention.
  18. Welcome MG man. There's no real tournaments in Airsoft, however there are lots of skirmishing sites.
  19. Problem is with most anti-fogging stuff is that come the summer I always found sweat caused more problems than anything - moved over to mesh but prefer glasses. What they need to invent is see-through mesh glass :-)
  20. Thanks. Trying to keep prices as low as possible and offer single £3.50 delivery cost.

    Site Details

Sounds like a neat site but see if you can change the title from 'Site Details' to 'New Site - Humber Airsoft'. Need all the exposure you can get :-) Shame I'm not closer.
  22. I've got a lot of time for the barrel attached Chrony, partly because it's made in the UK but it can be a pain to setup and definitely compared to a X3200 doesn't come close. The ones on Ebairsoft are clones like 99% of the ones from HK on Ebay, but £48 is a fairly decent price.
  23. You can't go wrong with the X3200, pretty sturdy piece of kit. £60 is a good price as some UK stores sell these for near £90. However the guy selling the ones on Ebay has been increasing his price every month. You can also find the ACM - clone version which is just as good and pretty much identical, although its missing the SHOT MEMORY feature. You may be able to get one all in for £45 - £50, pretty sure I've still got a box of these in the store room.
  24. Hi all. My new store www.ak2m4.co.uk, is up currently up and running. It's primarily focused on selling the best Chinese/HK aftermarket parts like SHS and the recently popular ZCI and CORE brands which are popular in the US currently. ZCI products in particular offer great quality for their price, they just don't come in fancy packaging like SHS. As well as internal parts we also offer external accessories such as stocks, sights, grips, rails, mosfets etc. If there's anything I can help you with please get in touch.
