When I was collecting poppies yesterday (in DPMs as have only just paid for blues and MTP's -you get the money back when you leave cadets-) and people were really nice. A cadet group near us was attacked a few weeks ago but jesus....
Saddens me that a few guys from my Regiment went to the US this week, visited the White House in Uniform and got absolutely amazing levels of support from the US guys over there. Getting asked for photos etc.
