      It just needs sling mounts and some parts haven't been blued yet. It should be finished in about a week. I have a WW2 game on 28th Feb so I should have it for that.

      it's a really impressive build, but i just can't call it cool / the gun is 'kin hideous!

      Some guns, like the SMLE are just good looking. Guns like the Owen are a bit more untilitarian. It just looks wrong to have a top loading mag, but it means that it feeds well, it can be reloaded easily when prone and doesn't catch on vegetation as the Sten would. It's quite a bit larger than a Sten, this is because the main tube has a bulkhead between the bolt and the cocking handle.
