  1. The 6mm BB that they would of tested them with would of been metal aswell if they're safety glasses.
  2. I bought a single sling for my mp5 awhile ago and when it arrived I found the strap was too small and the clip on it was way too big. Some people suggested using a key ring hoop and clipping the sling to that. As you can see from the picture the keyring stripped the gun of its paint within about 30 seconds (I was going to respray but I think it gives it abit of character). I weren't happy with the keyring so what I've come up with was acquiring a fire extinguisher strap from work and a small strap that fits on the gun. I like the fact it has a buckle on the strap for quick release. I originally fitting it with a metal carabiner but found it awkward to put it on and take it off. What's everyone think of it? The fire extinguisher strap was originally bright red but a bit of black spray sorted that.
  3. Haha don't be jealous. I can make you one of these bad boys but it'll cost you
  4. What about mesh?
  5. So after thinking for a few hours and looking at your picture for inspiration I've come up with this! A ziplock bag and an elastic band! I can keep the bag tight so no noise at all. Simples!
  6. Sounds like more hassle than its worth.
  7. Make me one! Lol Mine is looking pretty shit :/
  8. So I ran out of ammo last time I played and my bag I keep my BBs is too big to carry round during a game. I'm trying to come up with a solution to carry roughly 1000 BBs without being too bulky or noisy. I know there are some bags you can get on ebay for about £6 but has anyone else came up with something?
  9. Those glasses are pretty much done. We do have a few other ones but they lenses don't seem to be as thick as the ones I were using. I'll keep an eye and have a look round later on. We have about 30 brand new pairs but it feel such a waste to just cut a pair up.
  10. . This is with the pilot drill..
  11. They allow it, I've seen others using 9mm blanks.
  12. The holes saw skipped Ian, not sure if you still want it. This is the problem when you don't use a pilot drill to guide the holesaw. The pilot drill is a 6mm drill bit. As BBs are 6mm it's near enough impossible for them to go through it. You sure you don't want me to use the pilot drill?
  13. 9mm it is then
  14. I know its a bit off topic but which is better for ohshiboom; 9mm blanks or shotgun primer? Don't want to pay the extra for both.
  15. It's plastic, not glass. Cutting it wouldn't effect the impact rating as long as the bit I use hasn't had layers taken off. Plastic bottle would work with a few layers the only draw back as you said is it might make the light duller.
  16. . I made mine out of safety glasses so the vision is crystal clear and safety rated.
  17. £280, what was I thinking! It's £232 a roll. £5 a meter!
  18. I can get the hi-vis that police use one their cars. It's about £280 a roll so it should be very reflective and never come off!
  19. The tape is probably the best idea, Thanks.
  20. I'm looking at getting a ohshiboom in the next few weeks. The problem is where I play indoors the place is very dark and often people lose their grenades. I was thinking of spraying one with glow in the dark paint. Has anyone had any experience with the paint? I would also carry a UV flashlight with me if I had to, I've seen some for a couple quid.
  21. Almost lost my dot sight last night so I put a cap on it too
  22. Loving the guy in the scuba gear, haha!
  23. No I binned it, sorry. If I see anymore laying around in the next few days I'll cut one up for you. What's you lights diameter? It's as if the lights program gets confused and needs half a minute to reset itself. Really strange...
  24. I work in an engineering stores so safety glasses are easy to come by. I've read the safety specs on them and they've been tested on with metal BBs, so no chance of breaking The only problem I'm having with the torch now is that is has become very temperamental. It works fine then for some reason won't turn on. The batteries are fully charged. Give it a few minutes when it's faulty and it's as if it corrects itself because it starts working fine again. Anyone experienced this? It doesn't feel hot so it isn't overheating or anything.
  25. Just done a bit of DIY to my flashlight. It got me wondering what other DIY I could do to my loadout? I've put a safety lense on my light incase it gets shot. I used the lense off a pair of safety goggles and some bungee cord. It doesn't look professional but atleast I won't be shelling more cash out on a light. EDIT: cut some of the cord back, looks a bit more inconspicuous now.
