OK just taken the motor off, if i try and mount it with the red wire contact at the front / trigger side then the screw holes don't quite align, and the steel guide the motor sits against is facing front, whereas in the redwolf video and my photo it was pointing back. I know what you are saying though, I need to find a way of trying it with the motor spinning the other way, just can't understand how things got reversed while taking the gearbox apart! I appreciate your time guys

Hi guys! I re-assembled it earlier and I have power now. The motor spins fine when outside of the gearbox, but when in the gearbox it makes a click and then stops. I've not replaced any shims or anything, and apart from the spring and spring guide it is all standard. So a 8.4mah nimh should be OK to pull a M95 spring? Oh, I should say I can push the gears around by hand, so they aren't sticking or anything.

Hi all. I bit the bullet tonight and installed an m95 spring and laylax spring guide in my TM g36 recoil shock. It all seemed to go together ok but there's no response when I pull the trigger. Tomorrow I will double check the battery charge and fuse, but are there other things I might have missed? It does seem a little stiff to get into safe now... Cheers all

I probably should have made clear, I would sell the TM if I was happy with the type97 so it was a low cost option. Thr upgrade path will obviously cost a bit, but I appreciate what you guys are saying. Am I likely to let the magic TM pixies out if I swap a spring and barrel? Am I right that 300fps is the safe limit for a TM?

Hi all, I'm just after some opinions if you will! As you can see from my sig, I'm a big fan of TM stuff but something happened Sunday that made me have a bit of doubt creep into my mind over my rifle. A good friend has been using a G&G Top Tech for 18 months or so, and has great success with it, easily shooting as far as two of our TM recoil shocks on the rifle range but doing so with obviously a faster BB travel time. It never bothered me until he bought a TM recoil shock M4 last week, played with it for about 3 hours, and then went back to his G&G. His new TM is now up for sale! I trust his judgement completely, and combined with having a bad day in the field with my TM, I just wondered, should I sell my beloved G36K? If I do, I'm considering the Real Sword Type 97. An easy 340fps spring change and a long barrel will give me what I'm missing, but no recoil.... Am I mad for considering such a swap? cheers PS I have some .28 BBs to try in my TM next time, I've been using .25s so far.

Proball bio are very good, we tested them back to back with blasters on a target range and there was no discernable difference.

Hi, I have a recoil shock g36k and wouldn't be without it! I haven't had a single issue with it and the recoil effect never gets old. I would agree though that the BB tends to float toward your target a bit more than a 350fps top tech. You may get frustrated from time to time when someone sees your shot coming and ducks! Never been tempted to sell it though...!

Hi all, could someone point me in the direction of a soft material Hi Capa 5.1 holster please? Ideally I'd be looking for something that can attach to a MOLLE vest but it doesn't have to, and I don't mind vertical or horizontal mounting. I know there is an article on here about a serpa holster fitting a 4.1, but I was hoping to get something softer and slightly larger for the 5.1 Many thanks!

I am lucky enough to have a TM custom hi capa built by Mike Cripps at the Elite shooting centre. His customer service is first class and you wouldn't be disappointed with a gun from him. However, the standard hi capa is still a wonderful gun and Mike will always upgrade it later for you if you don't want to do it . I would say my TM glock aep is a damn sight easier to look after and use though if you are thinking purely indoor as the low fps doesn't matter at all then. Outdoors the range and accuracy on 0.2s which you have to use on the aep makes you lag behind a hi capa. Food for thought! :-)

Unless I missed something Airsoft is at least 50% about looks, and I saw a German guy on youtube with a Glock aep turned into a mini machine pistol and liked it. I am very sorry if this offends you Lozart. Maybe it would make more sense if I uploaded a picture, but thanks anyway.

Hi all! I am after a way of mounting a foregrip onto my TM aep Glock, I stupidly bought a RIS foregrip forgetting it was a beavertail mount on the front. Are there any beavertail to ris converters out there, or a foregrip that will slide straight on to a Glock? Many thanks all!

Oooooh - where did you get the c-mag, and have you test fired it yet? This week I have bought: TM G36k recoil shock TM high cap mag 1600mah battery And today the TM tracer unit and 2400 G&G tracer BBs turned up! Now I just need to re-mortgage the house ;-)
