Mr B, why not just put a pair of surplus DPM's or other cheap uniform and sew a paracord grid on the back?

That's what I'm thinking of doing instead of a full on suit Teddy. I have either Vegetato or DPM BDUs I could use and I have some paracord already. Thing is how do you actually attach the foliage onto it? I know people use dental floss and things but I don't know how you actually tie it on or whatever. I'll find a way when I get to that stage. I will buy some burlap or synthetic fibre stuff to put on too.

The grids aren't completely flat to the BDU, only sewn on at the joins and corners, leaving space to thread foilage in, or you can tie loops in your jute and burlap to put foilage in. I think what the original guy did was use shock/bungee cord sewn onto the BDU to retain foilage, I remember him mentioning buying some near the beginning
