      I've read a few places that you want bearings for high speed, and bushings for high FPS.

      okay, im a gearbox noob so sorry for having to ask this but what are you talking about "Motor pinion to bevel shimming as is angle of engagement" ??

      Yeah i will more than likely going to get a guarder infinite high torque motor with high speed gears.

      Angle of engagment is the angle at which the sector gear(The big gear which touches the piston) contacts the first tooth of the piston. It should be 90 degrees for optimal reliability,it requires shaving off the 2nd tooth half way to correct it.
