  1. Got my pistol eventually, it was a right pain though. They don’t send out orders themselves it’s done by their logistics 🤔. They lost it or sent it to the wrong person. It arrived 4 days late and when I opened the box it was a demo version of the one I ordered, complete with orange tip and marked up with lots of use and abuse. The company who supplied Furby Bundy was GBLS, they promised to pick up the pistol and deliver the correct one on Monday last week. UPS picked it up but no replacement. More calls to the manager of Furby and I got the right one delivered on Tuesday. To be fair the owner of Furby called Steve was pretty good, and he gave me £50 compensation for all the agro and a can of gas. Would I use them again, not sure to be honest. Can’t really recommend them for mail order goods, probably fine if you call in the shop and purchase face to face.
  2. £95 brand new at Bullseye County Sports
  3. Not sure how they are if buying in person but there mail order is shit.
  4. It’s not, but if I can stop someone from being scammed I will. I hate these scum bags.
  5. Number of adverts on here have photos stolen and are appearing on airsoft hub, and the scammers are asking for ridiculous low prices to attract victims.
  6. Think the mods on here must be very patient people, the message to include username and date is so prominent on the forum yet new & renewed adverts keep appearing without them. Not sure how long there patience will last though. 🤬🤬

    WE Hi Capa

You will need to add a photo with your username and the date, otherwise it will get removed, new rules from Dec 1st.
  8. Fubar Bundy airsoft, a new company to me. Any one dealt with them and can recommend them. Thanks
  9. I would contact boomarms and check they included your UKARA number on the declaration, they may have even photographed it before posting.
  10. Be aware that Parcel Force will only compensate up to £150 for any airgun, despite whatever value you declared and paid the extra insurance for. And declare as air pistol not airsoft pistol as they don’t legally carry them.
  11. I had an air pistol seized. It was common practice by many to buy airguns from Europe at the time, they were cheaper and could be delivered to your door. I was a firearms club member and had a UKARA membership. BF though, declared it a RIF. Luckily as it was weeks until I heard anything, I and the store in Portugal thought it was lost and they had refunded me. I found Border Force totally useless to deal with. I had 3 visits from the police, they kept on visiting as they weren’t recording the information I gave them. In the end complained to the Chief Constable who put a local D.I on the case and I ended up getting a letter of apology from the police and no black mark against my name. Border Force are supposed to assign a member of staff to deal with you personally, they didn’t. You only get one phone number and they pass messages to the office that seized the item apparently. I contacted my local MP and made her aware that the airgun was classed as a low powered firearm under the 1968 act, and as such could not be a RIF. I made her aware that it was perfectly legal, and my legal status. Her office made contact with BF and insisted that the manager of the seizing office contact me. He did, very, very begrudgingly, he confirmed it was a .177 air pistol but added that BF were completely entitled to class any gun as a RIF, and did not recognise my UKARA membership as a entitlement to import. The pistol was destroyed, despite my request for them to return it to the sender. As I documented the whole case on the airgun forum I had a number of people contact me for advice. BF were seizing target pistols even spring air rifles and classing them as RIF’s. For me at the time,( I don’t know if it’s now improved), Border Force were a complete law unto themselves, classing any gun they stopped as a RIF, and totally ignoring the persons right to buy through proper defences. I wish you well, keep fighting them, but if it ends up in court it can be very expensive, win or loose.
  12. Yes, just seen your pistol on airsoft hub, £50, have you been in touch with them, it’s marked as suspicious, but has not been removed.
  13. Let’s not get pessimistic, no reason why they should at the moment.
  14. Are the controls and outer barrel still the original Marui ones. Plastic barrel I think.
  15. Forgive me if this has been mentioned in an early post. If airsoft guns are legally airguns then mail order delivery wouldn’t be possible, it would have to be RFD transfer to RFD with all the associated costs, delivery by an approved courier as some shops offer with airgun sales, or physically collecting face to face from the shop. As mail order is allowed I presume that airsoft guns aren’t legally classed as airguns.
  16. Yes, who ever thought that was a good idea. This pistol is really a collectors piece, or maybe a re-enacter, so two toning was stupid to my mind.
  17. What’s the feeling about adverts not mentioning that a gun was originally two toned, I ask as I offered on a pistol yesterday, offer accepted and then told, by the way, this was a two toned pistol, removed apart from a few specks of blue paint, and you should be able to remove them. Expensive pistol by the way £400 + In my opinion it should be in the advert. To rub salt into the wounds, the seller did the dirty on me and sold to someone else after we agreed a price he wanted. Disappointing.
  18. These are £190 brand new from a dealer with warranty
  19. Hadn’t heard of it, but just tried, and tracking not found.
  20. Items despatched airmail, the tracking links to parcel force, but 10 days after leaving still no sign of delivery.
