Yep The site is really good! Excellent navigation and reasonable prices. Plus by purchasing the membership you get 10% off for just £5. So far I've saved well above the £5 I spent on the membership alone. The Defcon looked like a great PC but I decided to cheap out a little bit. Ordered a SERPA and thigh rig for my 1911. Should be waaay better than my current drop leg (which has a habit of flopping around and sometimes catching the twins... If you know what I mean)

I ordered a few things from there abouuuut 4 months ago. Just a couple of accessories and such so I had no problems But their website is not exactly user friendly. Half their stock is alway sold out and the other half have no images. Shouldnt be difficult to update but meh. To each their own.

Bought a Magpul MS2 sling for my G&G MP5SD. Since I prefer CQC games so it made sense to get a sling that can go from 2 point to one point for corner transitions.

Says Top Tech on the box. Is there a huge difference between the two? I did see the Gen2 models were out from your post but I think it was already too late to take a look and change my purchase. Either way I've played with it this morning and its freakin sweet The fire selector pokes my hand a bit sometimes but I use gloves, so that helps.

I bought a G&G MP5 SD6, along with a battery and charger. Its beautiful and has a great sound to it. My first airsoft rifle. And it's an AEG for those of you who were against GBBRs (although my sidearm is GBB)

Indeed I dont know how this is played on console. I usually stick to 32 player servers but with this a 64 player server is so much more fun. Although with Rush... yeah it is stupid. But DICE have announced a patch to balance things up so hopefully that improves things I have borderlands 2 to play though which is out tomorrow (Or the day after)

AC130 in conquest is useless... Honestly its only good as a spawn point since it's made of tin cans. In Rush it is waaaay unfair but I always attack so I have fun I think with 2 people on the server the AC130 will dominate a bit. Unless you are a good jet pilot. Therea s huge blind spot all the way around the thing which Jets attack from. Nothing you can do as a gunner

In reply to your first post. i can agree about the moaners. I didnt play HC in BFBC2 much because I didnt like it. Some people do but there is no reason to moan about it until it gets changed. People need to learn they paid to PLAY the game. Not make it! It still belongs to the developer/publisher. If its not a one shot in BF3 then my mistake. I didnt play it much but when I did I always got one shotted by snipers. Maybe I was aleady slightly damaged? Who knows, but I prefer the ability to spot As for AK. Lucky PS3 people! I've watched a few videos and some of the maps look awesome I cant wait to see how the PC version will be different. I want to fly that AC130 too! I might even be able to shoot it down in a jet for once. I'm a crappy jet pilot so it is good the AC130 is a massive target! I might just stick to my choppering though. I'm a good choppa person. Although apparently they removed gunner flares?

Thats what I said. Our navy and airforce is lame in comparison as US favour air warfare over ground, which is what we're best at. Anyways its a hypothetical situation and to be honest nobody knows everything about both sides so its a null point. But it's still fun to discuss. As for the BF3 servers on XBOX... Arent there any official servers anymore? I sold my xbox copy so I cant even load it up to take a look. Although I cant stand HC servers. Everybody runs a sniper rifle with 12x scope or red dot. I used to run red dot in BC2 core to improve my headshots. I just cant stand HC XD Bullets do enough damage imo since they went all CoD on us. (average weapon damage is over 20 or close to it. in BC2 the average damage was more like 17)

Its pretty fun to see the variety of things people have. From legs, to shaggin wagons... I am curious as to people carry all their stuff around on a bike though. I'd be wobbling all over the place. Plus I like to know theres a bit more of a buffer zone between me and the floor, other than a layer of cow, if I have a serious accident.

Awesome! I cant wait. Although recently I have been joining a few stupid servers where players are boosting in CQ. This really annoyed me. First time I've ever seen mass boosting in a battlefield game.. EVER. Hopefully there wont be any of this crap in AK. I will be getting it on 11th too as I have it for PC. I think the xbox sales are larger than both PC and PS3 combined... Last I heard anyway. I've not been keeping up to speed with it all as life is getting busy

Are you kidding? 3.5k to insure? Thats not right. My first car was a 1999 fiat punto worth £500. I was 17 and it still came to about £1000 to insure. I crashed that after a year though. Then I got another one. 2001 Fiat Punto, cost me £1200ish to insure. Maybe you should look at direct line? My insurance now is down to about £500

Just thought I would create a random thread to see what everybody drives these days. I know some of you will be too young to even start learning to drive yet so until you have your first lesson and whatnot, just enjoy the pictures I drive a 2004 Seat Ibiza, 1.2L. I've had two Fiat Puntos in the past and I must say this is a huge improvement over them. Basically a VW Polo under the hood. And compared to my mothers Citroen Picasso that I've been driving there is no contest. Very nippy and great for what I need (typical English rain) My next car will probably be a Seat Leon, because I have always loved the newer ones. I need to save up the monies for a few years though So what are you guys driving?

But you're forgetting how far away the US is from the UK. If the game was about an invasion or something then it would be pretty unbiased... or maybe even biased towards the UK. For the US to do long distance invasion it would be almost impossible. Especially against a country that isnt bad on military power too. We're not up there in sheer numbers but we're not bad to be honest. Anyways Any attack would require a LOT of resources, and any troops, carriers, navy boats, planes that are taken out it would be almost impossible to call for reinforcements because of the distance. Sure they have air advantage. But we have home advantage And I'm pretty sure nukes arent going to be flying too. I think it would make for a pretty interesting game and a very unique story line! But thats just me... Somebody should make a BF3 mod for this

More armies would be pretty awesome. It would be nice to get away from the standard FPS stereotypes. Nothing is new these days. Think about it. WWI,II = Germans/Japanese Modern = Russia, China, Middle East FPS games are hugely racist in my opinion. I wouldnt care if the enemy was English in modern games. Would be nice to have something different. Or even GB vs US. That would be a pretty unique game. And you can just imagine the attention that game will get from... Well pretty much everybody. Governments, Parents, tabloids, Game Journalists. And it will probably add more fuel to the England vs US fire thats been going on since they claimed independence haha. But still... It would be different! And in a market that is fast running out of ideas, I welcome that. But back to BF3. I want to try out the AC130. I wonder how hard it is to shoot down, and how high it flies. So many new things to sink my teeth in to.

So armored kill is out next month! I'm super excited to play the new game modes and see how the new vehicles affect the overall game progression. Plus it's an excuse to play BF3 again. I've been going back to playing BFBC2 these days. Lots to look forward to I'm also pretty excited about the new MOH game. the last one did not impress me at all though. Only problem is I have to balance BF3 AK with Borderlands 2!

I never got past the first stage of Abes Odyssey because my parent wouldnt buy it me... So I just played a demo I got over and over and over. Who remembers demos? Back in the good ol days where magazines would actually give you playable demos. Good times. In a way I think gaming has devolved in some aspects. Shame

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would add to it anyways (since older games are awesome). Im surprised nobody has mentioned The Settlers II! One of the best games ever made and its all done through resource and building management. I also still play Transport Tycoon a lot. Although now there is OTTD which is awesome. Some other older games I thought I might mention: Silent Bomber (PS1) LAPD Future Cop (PS1) Toy Story 2 (PS1) GoldenEye (N64) Super Smash Bros (N64) Quake Arena (PC) I also agree with what was said earlier about Crash Team Racing. Best racing game ever made there are sooo many games I can go on about here
