This afternon I went and played at First and Only The Vault in Bury Ive played here multiple times now and it will be the site where I get my UKARA from next month Its really well run and offers some good CQB due to the nature of the setup, with plenty of corridors and turns to set up ambushes in We played a total of 5 games in the 3 hour slot with approx 5 mins break in between games First off was a standard team deathmatch to get warmed up and test the gear out, and for the renters to figure out the map. I even managed to knife kill my eldest lad for my first kill of the day, he was not happy and I think it made him hunt me down even more than normal. 2nd game was Domination. This is my favourite game mode. Today I decided to patrol the lab area and lock that down as best I could. I managed to take down over half the team on multiple occasions by being a sneaky bastard and getting behind them, making for some vey easy kills. 3rd game was Find the bombs. A total of 3 bombs were hidden in the map and you had to find them and return them to you spwan. We found all 3 pretty quickly, so the marshalls decided to take 2 from us and hide them again. This mode was pretty much a team detahmatch after that as we had already won. 4th game was a free for all, Im not really sure this mode works to well to be honest as you get the idiots shooting you, and then just waiting round the corner for your 10 second count to finish before shootng you again. Sort of takes the fun out of it, but I guess with a decent set of players this wont happen. Final game was another team deathmatch as the majority of the renters had quit after game 4, I think they were fed up of getting shot tbh. Next week may be a week off, but heading back to Level 2 the following Saturday

I should have said I'm waiting for the right SSR4 to come available, I think that is going to be the next one I buy

Yesterday I headed to Level 2 Airsoft in Atherton, first time visiting the site, but I had heard good things about it and had watched videos on Youtube so had an idea of what to expect. Chrono was well organised and went smoothly We were teamed up and myself, lads and their mates were all on the same team so that was a bonus. Teams were 18 a side First game was a standard Team Deathmatch, and for me the perfect opportunity to try to familarise myself with the layout of the area, and boy did I need it. After my first death it took me almost 5 mins to find my spawn 🤣 We lost that game by I think 95-88. Second game was Attack and defend the bomb sites, we were tasked with defending, and to be honest I never even saw the objectives once in this game as we were too busy skirmishing in the jungle area, but come the end of the game we had only lost one of the 2 sites so won the game Third game was domination, and probably the one I enjoyed the most as I took to capturing and defending the middle objective in my stride, even managing to clear the obective of 3 enemy players and then holding it for almost the rest of the game. Really enjoyed that one and got the most kills of any of the games we played. We ended up winning quite easily in the end Fourth game was another bomb game, but this time we were tasked with trying to detonate the bomb at a random location, it took us almost 10 mins to find were it was and we did manage to arm it once, but the oppositon managed to defuse it and slowly pushed us back towards our spawn point. We tried in vain to get back to the bomb but to be honest they had it pretty much locked down and we were unsuccessfull, resulting in loosing the game. Final game was an attack and defend where you had to take the objectives (x5) to set locations on the map and defend them when you placed them down. Both teams had to use the same 5 objectives but get them to different locations on the map, so it made for some intersting firefights. To be honest I have no idea who the round as we didnt get to hear the result. Managed to get some nice kills and tested the TM pistol out. Have to say makes a huge difference having a tracer unit They run a loyalty scheme where Game 9 and 10 are half price so well worth getting a card and having it stamped each time you play to say some pennines Its cost me £23 for the afternoon session, actual game time running from 4-7pm with about 5 mins break in between games Overall I had a great time and would highly recommend the site to others, we have booked back in for the 22nd to play again

No, but my youngest lad has taken the SSP18 from me now Im waiting for the right one to come along tbh. Come the end of May I will be more actively looking as will be back from our holiday with left over spending money to spend (just dont tell the wife I wont be spending it all when on holiday)

Well it was still RM fault that they took 4 days to tell me that the pistage was incorrect, they could have done that on day 1 and it would have then been delivered within its timescale

And the sage is over, collected the items from the DO this morning An thankfully it wasn't a brick

Novritsch SSR 4 MK2 I know its probably not up there with other guns but from what I have read, seen and heard its a very capable gun for a beginner

I have been looking at the SSR4 MK2, and should 1 become available for a price I can't refuse I will get one

Stop tempting me, god damn you. I have holiday spends for the wife and I that I need to save before May. Although I don't plan on spending it all until I get back home ....
