What about for NiMH batteries though that don't have them, can you sue a dean to tamiya connector to charge those Im getting a new charger either way, just want to make sure I can still use soem of the older batteries

What about if you dont have the balance connector though, safe to still charge using an adaptor

That was going to be my next ask, so its safe to charge a battery using an adaptor as long as its the right kind ie LiPo, NiMH ect

How do you charge the battereis, multiple chargers or do you have one that does all types?

In that case don't go for a starter bundle then, although I am fairly sure they wouldnt be sold if they were that bad as a charger (disclaimer I don't know if they are good or bad) Soldering the connectors is fairly easy and you coudl always get an adaptor, but thats frowned upon by some too Swings and roundabouts really Just research and ask questions like you are doing and I am sure you will find a gun that you are happy with

CQB is how I got into Airsoft The anti fog is a great tip, I have Muc Off for my MTB Goggles and use that before every game. No Issues so far with fogging up since using it Patrol Base do a Specna Arms starter bundle - https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/specna-arms-sandy-sneak-beginner-bundle but if you get it before you have a UKARA it would need two toning I honestly would consider a starter bundle, as even if you purchase another gun its always there as a backup and can be loaned to mates so they can see what the sport is like

Just make sure to get the battery with the correct connector on depending on what your gun uses Deans, Mini Tamiya etc Although you can change the connectors on them quite easily if you know how to solder

Re point 4 - Any respectable gun will have a warranty if bought brand new from a retailer so should anything go wrong you are covered, assuming you don't take it apart and tinker with it yourself

You will need to bear in mind that to buy a RIF you will need a UKARA or other form of valid defence unless you don't mind getting a two toned gun, or have someone who can buy the gun for you Have you considered a Starter Bundle from Patrol Base or similar for your first gun? Alternatively have you considered a pre owned Gun? Have you been to a site and played so you know what you are getting youself in to Most sites will have rental guns available to use for the session at an additional cost

Or you could get a starter bundle that gets you everything you need to get playing with your own equipment and slowly upgrade / replace as needed Once you get a UKARA then the range of RIFS you can get really opens up Or check out the classified here for a suitable gun

So no pants this time Bought this for my lad I believe he has plans to modify it

This afternon I went and played at First and Only The Vault in Bury Ive played here multiple times now and it will be the site where I get my UKARA from next month Its really well run and offers some good CQB due to the nature of the setup, with plenty of corridors and turns to set up ambushes in We played a total of 5 games in the 3 hour slot with approx 5 mins break in between games First off was a standard team deathmatch to get warmed up and test the gear out, and for the renters to figure out the map. I even managed to knife kill my eldest lad for my first kill of the day, he was not happy and I think it made him hunt me down even more than normal. 2nd game was Domination. This is my favourite game mode. Today I decided to patrol the lab area and lock that down as best I could. I managed to take down over half the team on multiple occasions by being a sneaky bastard and getting behind them, making for some vey easy kills. 3rd game was Find the bombs. A total of 3 bombs were hidden in the map and you had to find them and return them to you spwan. We found all 3 pretty quickly, so the marshalls decided to take 2 from us and hide them again. This mode was pretty much a team detahmatch after that as we had already won. 4th game was a free for all, Im not really sure this mode works to well to be honest as you get the idiots shooting you, and then just waiting round the corner for your 10 second count to finish before shootng you again. Sort of takes the fun out of it, but I guess with a decent set of players this wont happen. Final game was another team deathmatch as the majority of the renters had quit after game 4, I think they were fed up of getting shot tbh. Next week may be a week off, but heading back to Level 2 the following Saturday
