  1. They’re the most stubborn GBBR mags in the world! Federal Concepts have a loading adapter for the TM AKM mags. They aren’t an issue anymore, that’s for sure!
  2. My Uzi has been in a state of unreliability and painfully underwhelming performance since it arrived at my door. As it’s evolved through the batches, I’ve updated it as it’s gone along and now it’s at a stage where it’s alright. Providing everything is going along swimmingly, it’s not as fun to shoot as other SMG’s. My MP5’s deliver more of a fun experience when shooting. The Uzi’s steel body soaks up a lot of that fun. If it absolutely MUST be an Uzi SMG, sure, buy the latest 3rd batch unit.
  3. ^ this if the gas can is warmer than the vessel you’re intending to fill, the liquid gas will spill into the magazine more consistently than if they were both at the same temperature. You might’ve found before in the safe zone where you swear blind you charged a solid 10+ seconds on your mags, and you get 10 weak shots (if that) before it flames out. If they’re both the same temp, it can equalise pressure between them and not transfer anything at all.
  4. I used a valve key to remove the base cap of the bolt carrier at the rear. From there I use my finger to push the back of the nozzle forward, making sure the nozzle spring is indexing the nub on its base. Then I carefully guide the front part of the nozzle back into place. Extremely fiddly but as long as the spring stays straight and in place, you can allow the front of the nozzle to back down into the carrier and click onto the rear section. I haven’t seen any videos on this. Once you have it attached you can test it by pulling it forward and letting it spring back.
  5. I’ll give that a go and see what happens. Certainly is strange. Cheers man
  6. Jeez relax SBoardley. You might break your keyboard mate. I wasn’t having a go at you. We’re all just here chatting about toy guns. First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a “fan boy”. I don’t know why folks get a hard on by using that phrase as an insult. I love TM. And what. Secondly. I bought it with my own money. Even if I was gifted an item, I thoroughly test said products and reveal all and any issues surrounding that particular unit. If you happened to have caught any of my videos where I was given free items you’d know that. Reviewers aren’t all alike you know. Thirdly. One of my AK mags struggled to take on enough gas to produce results which I was expecting. My other mags seem to have a better appetite and produce the performance I was looking for. This is a prime opportunity to test out varying levels of the Green Gas Mod to get the best out of that troubled magazine. Also remember that’s not a review. Overview containing my opening impressions on it. I’m still building experience with their latest AKM, and I’ll be making the review once I’ve grasped a good understanding of it. It’s a constantly evolving process that never ends. Reason why I’ve revisited the M4 MWS a few times over the years with its progress.
  7. I wouldn’t be too sure about that mate. My initial impression was of disappointment, not really on the external side of things as, after all, TM are strictly a toy gun maker that are governed by the regs in their nation. The staying power from first to the last shot is what bugged me most. One of my magazines really struggles to accept a gas (propane) charge to ensure it punches the last shots as strong as the first. The others almost act like they’re full but then stop spurting liquid gas out and continue charging regularly. Weird. They’ve taken on enough gas for just over 2 and a bit FA mag dumps. Sweet! Now the only thing that requires some attention is the HU. It doesn’t lift 0.30g bbs very well. Easily remedied though.
  8. Oh yes! When it worked it was such a ferocious beast. Lots of metal on metal. Good clunky AR trigger, bolt dragging over the hammer and it’s metal nozzle coming down on the chamber like a hammer on an anvil. I think that was one of the keys to its roar, the metal nozzle. The Marui M4 has too many plastic components that act like dampeners and those roller bearings don’t help.
  9. It’s about time someone decided to produce full sized GBB Uzi’s. It’ll give those MP7 and MP9 users something to look up to. ?
  10. Still having nightmares about Airsoft Dynamics. ? Firefight Woodland site (in Reading iirc) was wonderful. Apart from the ascent up the hill in the morning. Good times.
  11. Michael Scott is my spirit animal ? And your video has taken me to a place I’ve never been before. Glad you’re loving the MTR-16!
  12. Sorry mate, it’s gone. Although I have their latest A5 that I may end up selling at some point.... Well, maybe. I’ll see how I get on with it ?
  13. It goes behind the buffer spring at the back of the buffer tube and creates extra spring tension for quicker semi auto shots, all while not eliminating any travel of the working parts themselves. The buffer can still pass through it. This newer design is said to further improve the plastic buffers longevity. I have been very fortunate and one is being sent to me courtesy of Dave from SixG. I received the previous version makes it a little more snappier, it was no slouch to begin with lol!
  14. I disassembled the MP5 late last night and the rubber plug has disappeared into oblivion. It must be somewhere on my desk among my tools etc... When I get time I’ll check the FPS and see how she runs. Yes, forgot to mention it’s the 2019 Version 2.
  15. I might be tempted to offload my SD3, just FYI ?
  16. I’m surprised they got back to you. To be fair to them they got their V2 system tuned to perfection. It’s sooo good.
  17. Righto I removed mine just to see and it works like normal. Although I haven’t tested the FPS.
  18. Hmmm. Do you have the V1 or V2 SD?
  19. I read somewhere that on the older gen VFC it worked as a gas cutoff lever. The V2 disabled this feature and it saved gas. Aside from that I never put much thought into it.
  20. Cheers guys. This is the best community around!
  21. Hiya, I’m cool thanks. The main reasons why I didn’t put the GBLS against the Marui MWS is because I had a limited amount of time that I was allowed to review the rifle and as the most realistic AEG I wanted to put it up against the most realistic GBBR I had. So that was the GHK M4. The best reasons to go for the GBLS is you don’t have to deal with all the hassle that comes with GBBRs. The physics of using system that is reliant on compressed gas which can fluctuate performance depending on environmental changes is an ongoing threat that you have to accept. Unless HPA sounds appealing to you...but that doesn’t sound like your cup of coffee at all. HPA’s for nerds anyway ? I think a lot of people here would agree that the MWS has the upper hand purely because it’s soooo user serviceable, and it’s got a vast supply of upgrades available to it. I can’t think of anything more frightening than stripping down a GDR-15 to its bare components. So in that regard the GBLS is certainly not better. There’s a million ways to break it down but it’s still an AEG. I found the stock range to be excellent. Over hopping 0.30g’s to roughly 70m. Accuracy was no better than my TM Recoil SCAR L. Is it that much better than an MWS? no it’s not. If your teammates aren’t comfortable with going gas, despite how cool your MWS shreds people, and they aren’t spooked out by spending almost £2k on the GBLS, they should go for it. The justification to spend that amount of money is the excuse to not have to deal with the issues that we happily take on the chin. The flip side of that coin is like Systema PTW’s/expensive cars, parts and servicing cannot be done on the cheap. That’s what it boils down to, off the top of my head anyway. Hope that helps.
  22. I do. As long as you do it in a safe and well ventilated area you should be alright. I keep an eye on mine as they’re filling and weigh them as I go, this makes sure I don’t pump too much gas in. They can be charged with more gas than what they come with from new. Over the past few years they’ve begun producing them with one way valves which prevents you from refilling. I have a couple which won’t take so much as a breath of fresh propane, even using the pre-chilling method. I’m quite lucky as I have 3 cans which are older.
  23. Hi Rob! Thanks buddy. lol, I get the blame for everything! I’m sorry to hear that you’re poor now though. Try to stay warm this winter. ? Damn, I miss Mr Nugent. He had such a valuable resource of information.
  24. Mr M***s, how the devil are you? I was planning to do it next month. But might have some scheduling conflicts with another freebie, lol. So it might be January. Yes indeed. Hi bud, thanks!! Did you get the MP5?
  25. This is completely normal. Mines really mushed in at this point but still cycles fine.
