  1. To be honest, if you've got a vehicle big enough (or you hire one), then it might be worthwhile just booking a stall or two and taking it to the Midlands Airsoft Fair in October. You can sort it into complete guns, and parts etc. and just let people dig through it at their leisure.
  2. As one of the users who replied to your original topic, I have to agree with Austeyr. The A&K SVD isn't widely used or known at the best of times. Followed up by adding in the CO2 System which as I previously stated, will push it well over any skirmishable limits only makes it even less popular for UK players. If you've used or had questions on almost any other platform in that time then I'm sure you would have been able to find help and knowledge, but being limited to one aging and uncommon platform over multiple years is just like playing on hard mode, unfortunately! For such a niche topic, and as much of a cesspool as it is; Reddit might be a better place to find knowledge on something like the CO2 SVD System. *Edit Looking back, I saw you mentioned buying the mancraft PDIK kit. Did you not ever install that or get it running? It could have been worthwhile to update people on your work if so; I'm sure the PDIK would have produced better results than the CO2 kit, and you could share your results with others here.
  3. Yes, that should be the correct fitment style for it. Any of the older model solid stocks should be compatible.
  4. Booked in for HQ tomorrow before they close their doors for good.

Always sad to see a site shit down, especially one that's a bit different.

Real shame. I only went there for events (so not games from HQ themselves) and only one of them didn't use the full site - easily the best in the UK and filled the gap left by camp sparta. Seems the only non-MOD large-ish urban site left is anzio (which I've not been but doesn't look as big as either sparta or HQ).

It's not my usual style; but I figured I might as well put in one last visit before it's gone.

  5. I'm still awaiting a reply to a message from a few months ago so unfortunately, I wouldn't hold your breath tbh.
  6. TBF, I messaged the admin several months ago and managed to get that sorted, so notifications started working again; at least for a while. Also got him to add the dates that adverts were posted, so you could know if you're messaging about an item from days, weeks or years ago.
  7. Not every outdoor site mandates bios, there's plenty I go to that don't.
  8. Hop bucking has been installed crooked? Take out the hop & barrel unit together and look down it as you apply hop. Take a picture and share it for us to see.
  9. Bought myself a cheap tri-shot and AK accessories ahead of an upcoming Stalker game. Most impressively was the delivery time: I ordered them Friday evening and DPD delivered them on the Sunday; which I didn't know was a thing!
  10. If you want the OKP-7 then contact Raresoft. He's also got an advert on here, has them and is even cheaper, iirc. Plus he's certified legit and is a great guy. https://www.raresoft.co.uk/product-page/raresoft-optics-okp-7-replica-picatinny-version
  11. I guess we'll never know. ??
  12. I'm going to guess that It might be a VSR-10 by Tokyo marui? What exactly are you wanting to know? Pictures will help people help you, otherwise we're no more knowledgeable than you are right now! ASGK is a marking that Japanese Airsoft guns have, that certifies certain standards afaik.
  13. Good bucking and barrel and ensuring it's all in place properly and snugly in the hop unit to start with, after that it means opening the gearbox up and getting good air nozzle/cylinder etc. parts
  14. You don't want to beat 300 on 0.28s. The 1.14J limit will be approximately 295fps. Rather than opening the gearbox and swapping the spring, you'll probably be better off ensuring you have a good air seal, as well as bucking & barrel which should get you to what you want.
  15. I've not been in about a year or so, but yeah it's pretty much been like that when I've been. Every time I've played there, bar one, has always been in the first paintball-style section closest to the safe zone. Only once have I ever managed to play in the pines section (and this goes for the last three owners of the site prior to the current lot). When I say HPA & drum mags, I don't mean that they're anything particularly bad or malicious with it, just that there seems to be higher percentage than one would expect (TBF, this seems to be common among most of the sites in the North east; and a large reason why I don't really bother attending any local sites anymore). Games always seemed to be focused on short, fast scenarios where simply putting down rounds and hosing has been the name of the game; followed by everyone returning to the safe zone after every one only to come back out and do it again. I've got nothing against the guys that run it, they've been absolutely fine on a personal level, it's just not been the type of gameplay that interests me, which is why I didn't want to name them; (besides some rather daft pricing for ex hire guns, they've not really done anything wrong, it's just not my flavour of Airsoft). I've been doing this hobby for nearly 30 years, and You could even say Airsoft as a whole has been going this way in the past few years; which means I'm having to travel further and further afield to find somewhere that interests me. All of the local sites are pretty much the same, so it's not confined just them.
