Thank you all for your replies, ended up ordering one of these new S&Ts, very budget freindly and quite literally the lightest pew i could find on the market lol, will take a while to get here but lets see, first port of call will be handing it to a tech to just get it tidied up and working smoothly and job done, not overly keen to trick it out with attachments, ive done all that on my other pews, gunna keep this vanilla besides maybe a few elastic bands and a ali express surefire torch lol.

Gday All, Have been into this hobby for about 3 years now, have amassed a small collection but always have had a soft spot for AKs and their variants, my only qualm is they all tend to weigh a metric ton! Due to my day to day role, my shoulders are often knackered by the time Sunday Skirmish comes around, so i wanted to ask..... Anybody aware of any particular AK models that are actually lighter / dont weigh as much as the full on real steel / all metal offerings of the E&Ls and LCTs? I have had E&Ls / LCTs / GHKs etc, and whilst i love the feel and sturdiness of them, I will confess that the fatigue i develop as the day progresses often tends to detract from the experience, as I otherwise love fielding them. And yes I know i can go to the gym and get stronger etc etc I am doing that bit already lol, its more so just if anyone knows of any specific models / variants that are reasonable / can be modified to be lighter offerings. Gday All, I am currently in the process of picking up a second hand LT AK104. I know they dont get the best rep, but a full polymer AK that doesnt kancker my arms by Lunchtime at Sunday Skirmish sounds appealing, and the V3 GearBox means if it does go up the creek... it can be recovered 🤣. My question is, anyone have this particular model, and if so, what Handguard options have worked for you? Would LCT / 5KU parts work ok with the Lancers or is some fitment and adjustment needed? Gday All, Had a quick query, I am a glasses wearer and contacts irritate the shite out of my eyes so ive always gone for a insert route inside glasses whether they be Nuprols or Wiley Xs. However, in most instances I have still had fogging, usually on the outer lense, whilst my insert remains clear. I have been considering a full face mask, following a few close shaves and having had a few rogue BBs deflect and get up under the eye pro, was seriously considering a Dye Mask. For reference I am a bigger fella, 6.3 and about 110kg so I feel I will need a bigger mask, which one would people advise? Do people run their glasses inside of these comfortably? I understand they do have cut outs to give space for glasses? Or would a YouZee Prescription Insert be a good option to clip into the goggle and run that instead? Gday all! Very quick one, am in the process of modifying the 1st Edition E&L i picked up and am keen to chuck a few zenit bits on. Been eyeing up the import sites Russian Thunder and Ivan Tactical, namely as im after a B-25U angled Rail and an RK1 Foregrip to slap onto it. Anyone had luck with them recently, or has all the stuff thats going on in Ukr caused issues with this? Thank you in advance.
