I've not seen any solid reviews yet, but the newly release Specna Arms Prime series are looking great out of the box and reasonably priced. I am thinking of purchasing one myself but just need to see some proper reviews first. To be fair, I only think the first batches arrived in the UK for sale last week

I've only had parts from them up to now but they were spot on in all fairness.

I've received my GHK gen 5 today from a fellow member on here, the cerakote alu version. It's a really nice finish on the slide and really nice to shoot. I've put the patch to good work and it's gone to live with my GHK gen 3 steel The mags are interchangeable, with the the gen 5 mags being easier to release the base plate with a fingernail lever instead of just the press in button on the gen 3 mag

Nah confirmed by John Rothary they aren't bringing these to the UK

Theoretical user has now refunded me so can draw a line under this one. Lessons learned though, I will be a lot more cautious going forward.

Whilst I am new to this forum, I have been a member of several other airgun forums for many years. The feedback system usually works, I myself have a 50+ score on one of the main forums (AGF) because if I sell something, it genuinly pains me when posting until the buyer has it in hand and is happy. I really don't like posting items, I will not post a high value rifle etc. It saddens me 2 transactions in on this forum that I've had my first problem. Hopefully it's not a regular thing

Pure theoretical question that is in no way related to anything in real life. If you sold a relatively low value item on the forum, and chose to save yourself 50-60p on postage with Evri rather than the standard and reliable Royal Mail, and that item then got lost (shock horror), would you refund the buyer as soon as possible as to avoid negative feedback or public shaming? Or, would you claim that you are the victim and make the buyer wait until Evri (the best logistics company ever) refunds you before passing that on to your buyer. Or, would you just refund the buyer up front as a common curtesy and worry about the refund from Evri in the background as it's your own problem for being as cheap as possible on delivery. Head spinner - opinions sought

As a newcomer to airsoft I am still yet to obtain my first AR platform AEG so have been trawling reviews and YouTube for advice and opinion. I recently came across this video for the Elite Force (which I believe is just Umarex in USA - happy to be corrected) HK416 A5 ERG by KWA. Seems to tick all the boxes for me with the recoil system, pretty decent FPS and selectable 30/120 magazines. I emailed John Rothery Wholesale to see if we are getting these in the UK - response was a solid no 😒 Just wondered what others opinions are on this rifle are based on the video review. I really like the idea of recoil and enjoy the NGRS on my TM MP5. I know I can could get an NGRS 416 but I don't really fancy the lower FPS, or arsing about with the innards to improve it. I am very new to the AS world, so please be gentle 🙂

Can I please ask a question as an absolute newbie to this gun and the AS world generally? I've just purchased one of these TM MP5 NGRS and it's being delivered next week. I know absolutely nothing at the moment about batteries, the connectors or chargers. I'm not looking for anything budget, so can anyone advise as to the best battery that fits into the factory foregrip on these and the connector required? I would also appreciate any advise on the best chargers - I am looking to add an AEG assault rifle to my collection in the near future so want something that can service all LiPo etc. Complete beginner sorry! Any advise would be awesome and gratefully received 👍

Yeh I think as a replica enthusiast I'd have to have metal as a pre-requisite to any purchase. A friend has recommended the CO2 Taurus P92 which has full auto capability as well, and I've been eyeing the Umarex offering but cannot find a review of it anywhere - https://www.umarex.com/products/airsoft/co2/2.5994.html

Some form of Beretta 92 is on the list - just need to find the right one. Recommendations would be welcomed

Hi all, I have joined the forum based on a recommendation from a friend. I am a replica airgun enthusiast and have in the last year or so had my eyes opened to some of the truly excellent replica RIF's available in the airsoft world. I am not a gamer (bit old for it now), more of a collector and enthusiast.
