Same here! Conveniently their 'friend' could only be contacted via email. Some weird people out there
-
No but it would be interesting to see if JD Airsoft have started to do them. They reckoned they could but wanted me to pay for the design research as well as the actual trades. I declined their offer gracefully

This advert is COMPLETED!

Hi all, I am looking for a KJ Works 24rd gas magazine with the flat bottom as per image. This is purely as an aesthetic piece for my Inokatsu 1911, so ideally something non-working but would be happy with functional. Please let me know if anyone has one lurking in a boneyard pile or spares drawer. EDIT - I have been kindly informed by fellow member @you can`t shoot me that Tokyo Marui 1911 magazines will also do the job - so widening the search to include those. Thank you to them for the PM 👍 Needs to be the flat base plate versionNO VALUE SPECIFIED

I won't lie, short range (3m for testing) accuracy is not great - from my testing maybe a 1.5" group at that range. It's understandably not as good as the 3.5 but I'm likely to add that back into the collection at some point, along with the upcoming 6" 🤞🏻
-
No hastle from JD Airsoft with the issue with mine. Sent me labels to return and options for replacement. I opted to go for the 2" model I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these despite the issue mine had. A friend on another forum with repair experience has opened one up and is adamant that the internals are top notch. If I were to get another problem I think it would be easily fixable.

Did you manage to check in with Tango Down on etching the TMs?
-
Let us know what Tango Down say on this as I've not had chance to nip in yet. Mine needs to go back to JD Airsoft - as @novioman has mentioned above it mine with the buggered double action 😔 Ares Fault DA.mp4
-
No I opted for the 3.5" as they were selling out fast - I will be adding the 2" soon though I just want to see how the etching stuff goes as it's the only thing letting down a superb piece of kit! I will likely add the 6" on release also to complete the set 😂
-
No manual or hop key with mine either. I didn't know Tango Down did etching etc. - that would be extremely convenient seeing as their shop is 10 mins from my gaff!
-
I've just received mine today from JD Airsoft - what a superb bit of kit! Has anyone who's purchased in the UK had the trades etched on yet?
-
I've used Tango Down a few times now, great shop and really nice people to deal with. Well worth a visit if in the area

I've not seen any solid reviews yet, but the newly release Specna Arms Prime series are looking great out of the box and reasonably priced. I am thinking of purchasing one myself but just need to see some proper reviews first. To be fair, I only think the first batches arrived in the UK for sale last week

I've only had parts from them up to now but they were spot on in all fairness.

I've received my GHK gen 5 today from a fellow member on here, the cerakote alu version. It's a really nice finish on the slide and really nice to shoot. I've put the patch to good work and it's gone to live with my GHK gen 3 steel The mags are interchangeable, with the the gen 5 mags being easier to release the base plate with a fingernail lever instead of just the press in button on the gen 3 mag

Nah confirmed by John Rothary they aren't bringing these to the UK

Theoretical user has now refunded me so can draw a line under this one. Lessons learned though, I will be a lot more cautious going forward.

£40 low. I've sold all sorts over the last few years via RM and not one item has been lost or damaged

Whilst I am new to this forum, I have been a member of several other airgun forums for many years. The feedback system usually works, I myself have a 50+ score on one of the main forums (AGF) because if I sell something, it genuinly pains me when posting until the buyer has it in hand and is happy. I really don't like posting items, I will not post a high value rifle etc. It saddens me 2 transactions in on this forum that I've had my first problem. Hopefully it's not a regular thing

Pure theoretical question that is in no way related to anything in real life. If you sold a relatively low value item on the forum, and chose to save yourself 50-60p on postage with Evri rather than the standard and reliable Royal Mail, and that item then got lost (shock horror), would you refund the buyer as soon as possible as to avoid negative feedback or public shaming? Or, would you claim that you are the victim and make the buyer wait until Evri (the best logistics company ever) refunds you before passing that on to your buyer. Or, would you just refund the buyer up front as a common curtesy and worry about the refund from Evri in the background as it's your own problem for being as cheap as possible on delivery. Head spinner - opinions sought

Agreed, end up paying a hefty amount for those official trades they hoover up the rights to
