  1. I know, I'm not even in work the boss has just text me. I've literally got one pic of the sheriff next to a forming machine. I have to be really careful with pics as its a massive no no. We're making some interesting stuff for energy companies atm. I don't operate the laser, no idea how it works, and it's not an area I'm keen on doing as its a bit hands off but more mauling. Anyway, they're still needing to be formed and welded.
  2. They've been lasered. If you want one pop me a message as there will be 12 available. They'll be £180 each. I haven't done the recievers yet.
  3. Doing copper stuff, have been for a a while and will be for at least a few more days. I've had a few messages about them, I will update when lasered. Then when welded, then folded then final weld. Then I'll give them a coat of grey, whether you want to strip them or repaint is up to you. Will try and get the reciever drawn up tomorrow thought at least some progress will be made again.
  4. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

APS APM50 Shells Bought for a project, that I am never likely to do in all fairness. They're the 350 ish FPS angel shells Long discontinued.

    £50

  5. Does the email go straight to someone at the WMHCHQ?
  6. If they do a slightly older variant I'll be all over one of those. Like a 733 or similar.
  7. Currently only in a format to be fed through the laser cutter. Then stamping/forming, then to welding. Once they've gone through laser they'll be done pretty rapidly but we've just a lot on.
  8. @TackleI removed the steering damper. It had got 1000 quids worth of bitubo rear shock which solves the issue. Really don't need a steering damper with a proper shock. Naff bike to ride slowly or round town, loads of fun, and far too easy, to do silly speeds. I got rid on my return and bought something a bit more me. Anyway, I won't hijack this further, to summarise in the game of morrocan crime gang glock paper scissors, glock won.
  9. A 25 year old suzuki TL1000S. Not the ideal machine to be riding a couple of thousand miles 2 up. Worth 2 grand. Tbf the policeman that I spoke to the most said this particular lot will stab first and ask questions later. Gemma was upset but we went to Ghent and had 2 nights there instead of 1 in a cabin in some woods and it was a blessing in disguise. Ghent is a beautiful, lovely friendly place.
  10. Managed to find a HWS 1858, bonus is it's a long one. Well, a pair in all fairness. I'm not too fussed about boxes but these have Clint Eastwood on the cover so that's gotta be worth +10 tactical
  11. @Cannonfodderit's just an anecdote but last week me and the Mrs took a motorbike through Europe. We had an attempted bike jacking/robbery in Brussels outside our hotel by a gang of morrocans (the police chatted with us afterwords) with a machete very much involved. We were exceptionally lucky that Belgian plain clothes police were there, and were armed, and don't fuck around.
  12. I've thought about this as I couldn't put my finger on exactly why it was bothering me, but I wouldn't say I'm offended by patches of any sort. I'd say I find it fucking embarrassing. Like, imagine someone from a tabloid or something seeing us playing with a couple of people wearing those, and we would all be tarred with the same brush. Realistically, it should be called out and sites should stamp it out. It's not that far fetched an idea, they've run stories at events moaning people were dressed as terrorists. That's people in jeans, a shirt and a shemagh with an ak. If public perception is that we are a bunch of far right wing A holes who have gun fetishes this hobby is on borrowed time. Especially with an inevitably incoming (and not soon enough) labour government. A proper impression is different and that's just nuance perhaps.
  13. I do theme games at a club that has a great vibe but they're few and far between. Maybe I should do more there and a change of gear from cqb based to outdoor is on the cards.
  14. Someone's just listed a Tanaka M37 on this forum, if you're seriously wanting a compact revolver you'll do no better.
  15. I'm having, for the second time in 9 years a desire to fuck the kit off bar a western rig and a revolver and call it a day, and just make stuff. Z patches and Wagner patches and general bell-endery. I've never done camo wearing or patches or flags, I'm a former soldier and play airsoft completely apolitically. I just can't work out if they're edge lords or actual fucktards.
  16. I think a lot got chopped up already for pulse rifles. I don't think I'll have any issues selling the excess. I'll post an update when they've gone through the laser cutter, and they'll have to be pressed and welded but won't be doing pre orders or deposit ect as frankly we may fuck a couple up in the process and I'm not exact on how many I'll have other than 15 ish.
  17. Roughly £150 for a heatshield, £50 for the reciever. It's genuinely quite a complicated piece from a manufacturing perspective. It looks simple but it isn't. If I can do them cheaper, I will. But it'll be a one time batch of these. I do want a pulse rifle. I want a pair to fit to a pulse rifle I haven't even purchased and to a Spas 12 I've only got a stock for currently, but I have a sheriff heat shield which fits the marui and is made from mild steel, modified (very, very lightly) to fit the marui which is the reference. As it makes more sense to do a run of them using a whole sheet of steel hence producing a bunch.
  18. I'd look to supply as bare metal, just oiled. Then they can be blued or painted depending on the finish wanted, the one in Leeds Royal armouries is blued. I know they were available painted and blued. I've been away for a week or so and gonna do a little more tomorrow. The heat shields will be done before the bodies.
  19. If you're on a budget, Green gas Tokyo Marui python 2.5 inch or the m29. They last quite well if used with low power gas. Smaller than the Dan wesson 2.5s and lighter. The springers are shite, avoid them. Imo tanaka are the way to go, and genuinely available in all sorts of models with small frames and even concealed hammers but again low power gas needed and are expensive/hard to obtain. Tanaka are the gold standard with airsoft revolvers. 3rd option is accept a larger grip and have something co2. Could go down a custom route or just buy one that's already done like the Webley if you want left field, or the Dan wesson 715 in 2.5 inches. The 715 series are better made than the early versions and are distinguished in that they are a bit more square and have a (naff) hop. Don't bother with marushin revolvers or king arms.
  20. True. I'll give it it's own thread. I'm working on metal kits for tm Spas 12s too and fancy having a crack at a MAT49. If I can get hands on a deact I can get replica bodies formed from steel. The terminator has been built by a guy called Lee who's a wizard. I'll get it working spot on and do all the finishing and will do a build thread when I can.
  21. This is still in the works being modelled to go through the laser cutter. Actual work comes first and foreigners come second, obviously.
  22. Probably not, it'd be too easy to change certain aspects of this build at some stages and have a live gun. Things have been deliberately changed so that can't happen
  23. Cobray Terminator. Needs parkerising still and markings added. But legitimately my new cqb toy.
