Up for grabs is a head turner, one of the most special replicas you can find! Only one on the market at the moment, as these are highly sought after and once people have them they hold onto them! All the common issues with these replicas have been fixed/replaced, including the common failure point of trigger shears (replaced with the hard to acquire Springer Custom Works S-Trigger v3). It's really honestly rarely been used, in a like-new condition, preserved really well. When I bought the replica, it was slam firing , so I took it apart I found BBs stuck behind the spring and everything 😕 I then decided that in conjunction with knowing about all the common issues with these replicas normally, I would replace everything internal and entirely rebuild it! I could have gone the HPA route as many others have, but I wanted to keep the authenticity and put lots of effort into curating which parts to use to ensure it would perform spectacularly. List of parts that have been replaced, I have receipts of everything and packaging I will give you along with the replica: Springer Custom Works S-trigger MSR v.3 €135.00 Action Army Twisted Cylinder For VSR10/T10 £74.95 Springer Custom works 90° VSR Airbrake Piston £33.80 Action Army 430mm 6.03 Inner Barrel for VSR MARUI VSR-10 £34.95 Rapax APS2 Style Spring (2+Joule/Blue)- SRS//TAC41/SSG/VSR APS2 Style Spring (2+Joule/Blue) £17.95 SCW VSR spring guide 7mm £24.99 GBP Springer Custom works 7mm to 9mm Spring Guide Sleeve £4.20 Maple Leaf Decepticon 2021 Silicon VSR/GBB Bucking 70° (Blue) £7.95 List of additional accessories: Ares 3-12x 50mm scope (SC-007) £249.99 Ares Amoeba Striker S1 / AS-01 Sniper Rifle Stud Mount Bipod £45.00 ARES MS-700 45Rds Magazine x 3 £16.00 (each) = £48.00 Soft carry case £30.00 So, as you can see, this thing has had OVER 300 POUNDS of upgrades, not including the time I've spent on it tuning etc., and again over 300 pounds of accessories included. Shoots just under 500fps site limits as expected with the spring. Also comes with original box Price for lot £680, however, If you have a reasonable offer, reach out. Thanks! Up for grabs is the universally liked HK 417, this model made by Umarex / VFC, known for exceptional build quality and replica design accuracy. This is the longer barrel version, which I believe looks better and is more authentic to the version of HK 417 that everyone knows, compared to the newer models (HK 417 V2) with the SBR look which according to forum posts is of cheaper build quality with cheaper internals. not that that's relevant anyway because this one's basically bespoke! Also in my opinion better than the newer NGRS versions, as they just bring more complication to the table, more parts that can break, harder to service and fix etc. As with all my RIFs, I've also upgraded this, fully rebuilding the inside, from mosfet to motor to cylinder head, even replacing the gearbox casing entirely with the retro arms precision CNC'd aircraft grade Zinc-aluminium shell, due to a known issue where the OEM gearbox shell is prone to cracking over time or when going up to higher fps. I've actually only used this a handful of times since I upgraded it about a year ago, due to a broken collarbone and other life stuff getting in the way. The only thing I haven't replaced in this replica is the hopup, which, if you have done research on this model RIF, you'll already know it's one of the best stock hop-ups produced in a replica, rivalling custom made ones. This thing is definitely both my and my friends' favourite RIF. It's bang on the limit of 450fps for semi-locked DMRs at fields, but let me tell you- this thing hops BBs so damn well. I guarantee that using it will make the most fun you've had in an airsoft game yet, I'm really not kidding when I say that. All my mates who used it told me that this thing is awesome, and I'm really proud to say that I managed to rebuild it and have it perform so well. List of upgrades as follows: RetroArms CNC Gearbox V2.2 HK417 (8mm) QSC £145.00 GATE X-ASR Plug-In MOSFET12451 £26.00 ZCI Airsoft Shim Set (30 Pieces) £4.00 ZCI High Torque replacement motor (Long) £35.00 ZCI High Speed Piston with Full Metal Teeth £10.00 Rocket M4 Silenced Bore Up Cylinder head £10.00 ZCI Non Ported AEG Cylinder - Type 0 £7.50 Oper8 11.1v 1300MAH LiPo Stick Battery x 2 £24.00 Rocket M140 Spring Approx 440fps £9.00 CRUSADER Lower Receiver End Sling Mount - for Umarex / VFC HK417 × 1 £8.00 List of additional accessories: Theta Optics 3-9x50 AOEG Illuminated Rifle Scope £49.99 Hard Case with foam £150.00 (equivalent) VFC Umarex HK 417D Hi-Cap AEG Magazine (550 rnd) £42.00 (each) = £84.00 VFC HK417 100Rds Mid Cap AEG Magazine × 2 £21.00 (each) = £42.00 I can throw in some hk417 mag pouches because they're bigger than 5.56 mags and likely won't fit in normal pouches Over 250 POUNDS worth of upgrades, and over 300 pounds worth of accessories! Bang on 450 fps for semi-auto DMR site limits. Price for lot is £850, however, If you have a reasonable offer, reach out. Thanks! Whatsapp - 07422 202 499

  3. Hi all, I'm trying to figure out what the differences are between the V1 and V2 HK417s released by VFC/Umarex. So far, I believe the V2 has a mofset and a shorter barrel, but that's all I know about it. Does it still use the Ver2.2 gearbox, or did they move to using a standard V2 gearbox with the second version of the replica? patrolbase says that the gearbox version is a standard version 2, https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/umarex-h-and-k-hk417d-aeg but it doesnt even mention whether its the first or second version of the replica... looks to be the second due to the shorter barrel, but no idea. So, does anyone know the differences between these? Looking to tech on one, most likely a V1 but maybe I'll get a V2 for a dearer price provided there are changes that make it worthwhile Some links for reference V2 being sold - https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/umarex-heckler-koch-rifle-417d-aeg-v2/ a V1 review - https://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/threads/vfc-hk417-review.7631/ another one https://imgur.com/a/Sgo4D Fire support V1 417 - https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/umarex-vfc-heckler--koch-hk-hk417-recon-airsoft-rifle-aeg fire support V2 417 - https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/vfc-umarex-hk417d-airsoft-gun-aeg Thanks Mika
  4. Hi all, I have an Ares msr700 which I've upgraded from what was absolute mess of a replica. It's now got an AA cylinder, m150 spring, and SCW trigger and piston. Problem I'm having is that the front o-ring on the piston has deteriorated twice now, and I'm not sure why. I don't think that there's much fps/compression loss but that's probably due to the double o-ring design and I don't have a chrono so can't be 100% sure. See the photos attached. This can't be normal for these o-rings to deteriorate like this right? I'm using wd-40 silicone spray inside the cylinder, and it's not scored at all on the inside or has any debris. I completely cleaned it out and resprayed the silicone spray when I replaced the o ring. thats how far back the piston gets held by the 90deg trigger Theres also scoring on the rubber seal on the rear end of the piston I have a feeling perhaps that it's due to the piston moving back farther than the opening of the cylinder as shown in the image above, and then being forced forward fast against the pressure and maybe its catching on the edge of the opening? But i dont believe this explains the scoring on the rear end, and lack of deterioration on the second o ring. Looking for any explanations and suggestions as to what I can do to stop or limit this. Any more photos required just let me know Thanks in advance!
  5. Hey all, newbie from Australia here. Excited to be a part of the community! I'm after some advice and opinions. After a long time wanting to get into the world of airsoft and after a weekend at reforger just outside London, I've been researching airsoft almost 24/7 for the past week while I've been on holiday and I'm keen to get my first rifle. Now that I've read everything related I could find at least twice or thrice in these past few days, I need some opinions before I actually go insane. Essentially, I'm torn between which brand 416a5 to get. I've narrowed it down to a few and mostly leaning towards either the E&C or Double Bell I think: Specna SA-H11 or H12 https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/specna-arms-sa-h12-one-tm-carbine E&C 111 (416a5) https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/ec-airsoft-416a5-full-metal-tan/ Arcturus GR16 Mod 5 https://www.tsairsoft.com/arcturus-gr16-mod5-hk416a5 Double Bell 416 a5 https://wolfarmouries.co.uk/double-bell-416-a5-airsoft-aeg-dark-earth.html What I know so far and questions: - Specna QC issues (does this affect the h11 and 12 though? Are they newer or older, better or worse than the h21 and 22 (apart from the obvious mofset)? - E&C QC is meant to be better, and considering its down from £329 to £249 (cheaper than the double bell) that might be a good option. Is the E&C better, because it's normally more expensive...? - Arcturus proprietary gearbox... not ideal as I imagine I'll want to upgrade it in the future - Double Bell seems good and maybe better build quality than E&C? - Differing barrel lengths between E&C and Double Bell? This'll be my first replica, but I don't mind teching and upgrading things, I might not straight away unless its strongly recommended, but I'm sure I will down the track. I suppose I'm looking for a solid starter with a good frame that I can tinker with when I get around to it. Some sources of information from the countless I've sifted through so far: https://airsoft-forums.uk/topic/48883-double-bell-by-813s-hk416a5-almost/ - review of double bell https://youtu.be/N3IBuBdZk8Y - very in depth positive review of arcturus https://www.airsoftaction.net/specna-arms-h-series/ - specna review I understand that people might say VFC/Umarex and TM, but they're quite expensive by the looks of especially in the UK, and I'm not sure I want to invest that much just yet into something that many say you need to upgrade anyway. Sorry for the long post, Thanks all in advance
