Went with the cheaper chamber option after braking the plastic WE hop square on my stock one again. Only found them in two places in the US and one in EU none ship here. Could start over with a different chamber but will most likely need to change guide rod too

It’s listed as TM/WE Hi-Capa compatible, I put it in a single stack 1911 though. There is a WE/TM Hi-Capa/1911 version but would have to cut off a large nub on the front which is meant to seat with the guide rod, so got the Hi-Cap chamber as my stick guide rod is different

Gday lads and ladies, just fitted a ML hop chamber with ML Barrel and bucking to a WE 1911 hold the laughter. After fitting it all seemed good racking it etc, although very tight fit. When I gassed a mag to test fire it jamned halfway and spews the gas out of the mag, it will shoot the first BB though. Also jams in the same position dry fired. Anyone know a fix? Have done some minor filing already as the stock hop chamber fitted much looser, ML racks more smoothly now but still jams when fired 100% of the time

Made some minor changes, while still waiting on parts from overseas. Filed the rear sight out to make a better window 2mm to 4mm wide, made the front sight slightly more aggressive in the back for the white dot, will fix the minor bump. And drilled out a safety indicator, painted it red but was alittle too dark, currently just dabbed over in white before I touch it up with flouro orange.

Got and old WE 3.8, strarting to misfire and generally needs a little love. Is currently stock inside and out. thinking about trying to fit a maple leaf hop-up chamber and 80mm maple leaf crazy jet inner barrel. Want to try and back that with a 5ku blow back housing. Noticed 5ku do a hi cap and MEU/1911 version? Website displaying the same photo for both not sure on the difference there or which mite fit better. Anyone tried either of these upgrades on the 3.8? Or general thoughts. Think this would be no problem on the WE 4.3 hi capa. Keen to give it a go or am I setting myself up for a logistical nightmare?
