How tall is your son?
A MK23 with suppressor attached is a pretty long and unwieldy beast especially if he is holstering it anywhere other than his chest

As a fella larger gentleman ive not struggled to find gear. Depends what you are trying to carry though ie do you want just mags w grenades and pistol and pistol mags on belt etc. The Warrior stuff is lovely but pricey if your still experimenting with what you need on you

Your picture is giving me anxiety as its exactly how i used to work on my gear but i learned a harsh lesson. I highly recommend getting a dish tray or anything else ot allow you to sort collect and manage your parts as your going (and make it less likely for a screw to fall and never be seen again)
I agree with @Lozart on the grip (did the same with my DMR ) not a CYMA shell but alignment with high speed motors will make or break the build

I take it it isnt going to happen, its still on my list as its just down the road

Spent years with out one, then got a good one and will never not have one going forward
It may be purely psychological but.....

Cheap as chips, excellent quality & amazingly light & comfy, just add whatever pouches you need at the time.
The bulle pouches are also very good quality & well priced.
This is almost exactly what i use coupled with 2 of the doubel utility pouches. Gives me 6 mags on my chest and a spare pouch for radio etc and one loaded....more ammo than i can get through in hurry with the DMR

Hey all, I'm an old hand returning to the sport after 7/8 years off. I've checked out a few 'what's new' threads but my main concern is the state of my AEGs after so long on the shelf. They've been boxed and dry, just not necessarily warm, for the last 7 years, externally they all look pretty good and still cycle nicely. However, should I consider the Hop rubbers and batteries (all at least 10 years old) as knackered and just replace the lot?
Also, is dropping in a Maple Leaf rubber really as miraculous as the feedback would have me believe?
Thanks in advance.
Having been in almost exactly the same position a few months ago as Shamal says yep bin em it will be more enjoyable with something newer and more reliable.
A quick strip, clean and oil/lube in the right places was the key for mine were ready to go depite still running some old ass NiMH batteries FPS was pretty stable for all of them

A very good day, albiet i thought i was going to go badly after the G36 started the day chronoing hot (im still not sure why, need to have a tinker this week)...luckily the AK didnt let me down and therefore got a more than usual full day of gameplay and i forgot how much it makes me smile.
Great marshalling and a really good group so really nothing to complain about (until tomorrow when all my joints and back really start to remind me)

That's an enormously impressive video, funny, and so in-depth. Awesome!
it's a real shame they're still a young site and so there's not much content yet. But that's a "gold standard" for reviews on that GHK gun.
Also - I want one.Based on everyone comments i went and tried this. If anyone hasnt checked it out yet you really should. The standard of production and content is seriously impressive. Ive just lost a few hours to watching everything on the channel. Theres not that much as a few have said but one i want to encourage!

My DMR doesnt seem any game time for the same reason i would rather stick the tank on my sniper if im playing at range that day as the complete silence is more fun for me
I work under the principle that you have to spend money some times to learn what you prefer (thats my excuse for all the guns in the room anyway), luckily most parts are sellable
