I agree just point out what some operators do.. Im thinking of getting the older Mk.1 wire stock for my M249 as I have the para one but don't find the collapsyness (thats a word!) that useful and I think a lighter stock might help and prefer the look of the Mk.1
I do like the feed system of the CA and A&K, I've sometimes jamed a M4 mid cap into my M249 when needs be..
And as for the stock..
Front left has the CAR-15 style stock and back right a crane stock
Actually Liam thats not an M4 stock but the specific LMG sliding stock. I have seen a few pics of USSF putting the older style CAR-15 stocks on their MK46s.
and Finius whats your opinion on the G&P M249s? They just seem horribly expensive!
Yours sounds like it might have been whats referd to as a "tourists" one, made a lot cheaper. This one is meant to be genuine, whcih sounds about right given the blood stains on it and the god awful smell of dead animal on it
The guy originally wanted 5000 bob for it!
For a vest I'd suggest just a plan olive drab so you can use it with all your loadout. my OD RAV goes with my A-TACS AU, A-TACS FG, DPM, DCU and my plain colour loadouts as well
Fair enough.. as for carrying to many mags, I always carry 4 M4 mids with me even though I use a SAW You know juts in case 2500 bbs isn't enough, also handy to give to team mates if they're low on ammo
well thats going to be front heavy!!
I think the only thing you could possibly add would be a working laser (assuming the PEQ is a battery box) an Eotech magnifier and a bog roll
EDIT - Oh and some BUIS you know just in case
Having the bear minimum is just boring
To be air I have gone down to just a belt for big woodland games as the SAW more than makes up for the weight, but I still use the RAV for whenever the game might get a bit close or I feel like looking cool
