    I’m new and I’m tryna get into Airsoft as a hobby. I’d really like some advice on gear and purchase new stuff for my collection.

      Well, the best advice is to play first.  Rent a package at your local site, which will provide an electric carbine, eye/face protection and a bottle of BBs, and see if you enjoy it. The only thing you'll need is boots with decent ankle support for woodland.

       

      If you enjoy it, then you can think about sinking serious money into it.  Doing it the other way around is how we get a classifieds section full of "Only test fired, never got around to playing airsoft" abandonware.
