Sometimes it impractical for players to keep their hands up in the air if terrain is uneven and their hand is needed to support them safely crossing the field back to spawn so if loads started doing this honest dead players would be the only ones done over.

The times I've gone with my mates, I literally only saw them in the safe zone, as soon as the game starts I end up with other players either accidentally ending up in a squad with someone else or just because I've been chatting to people about their equipment. I'm going on my own this weekend to a totally new site myself.

Yeah fair point, either way in my eyes I got an M16 so I'm happy, luckily I haven't met any stitch counters at the games I've gone to yet 😄 Trying to think now though if I went to a Vietnam era film-sim would people kick off 😄

Just bought this Golden Eagle M16A1 on the weekend, enjoyed using it

Yeah they have quite a few sites around Wales to be fair, I traveled almost 2 hours to get to their shop, the guy working the shop that day was the marshal in the game I was going to the following day so he had it painted and down at the site ready for me to use the next day, quality service from them.

Conserving the very little energy I have for the correct moment 😄

Im on my second game now with a two tone gun (hence why I'm holding off until my third game to get my outfits sorted) to my first couple of games I've worn cheap green camo tracksuit bottoms, navy blue long sleeved shirt and a dark grey track jacket, if anything I lowkey looked like I should have been in a cartel or something 😄 The shop I've bought the gun off put the two tone on my gun and because their linked to the site I go to said that once I've played my third game there they'll strip the two tone off for me. Thats when I'll start my US Army Vietnam era outfit because it'll just look silly with a two tone M16.

Just had a look myself, not bad pricing at all, does seems to be quite a few spelling mistakes on the websites, I'd be very cautious, bearing in mind the camo uniforms are 23 pound for shirt and trousers, seems a little too good to be true. It could be a completely legit site but the things mentioned by myself would make me wary of purchasing off there.

I may hold fire and see what’s going on with the rerelease, then make a decision. Cheers for the links guys though, turns out there’s more on the market than I first thought 😂

In fairness that seems to be the cheapest one around as well (not that I want to specifically cheap out but if a deals there I’m taking it). I wasn’t aware that it’s rare in airsoft form, trust me to be like “oh that L1A1 would be nice to have” 😂

Anybody know where the best place is to buy an L1A1/FN FAL AEG? Seen a few but they seem to be out of stock most places, also one thing I have noticed is there doesn't seem to be too many different ones on the market. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. 😄

Im new myself, played in the Ammanford Airsoft site which is part of Aber Airsoft Shops little cluster of sites, run very well with a fun site and a decent variety of gamemodes, you'll be in good hands with them.

I know some people don't mind it but obviously it would upset some people therefore Im probably going to stay away from specific regiments/units insiginias/patches/berets etc just to be inclusive and trouble free. I'd never want to say I've done/earned X when I haven't either, people who do that are totally disrespectful to the people involved.

Cheers bud, i'll make sure to pop up some photos when I get around to it, probably take me a while but if anything it will stop me spending money on two tone guns before I get my UKARA defence sorted 😁 I'll have to take a look at that page, stuff like that does interest me. Yeah I think im going to actively avoid berets and patches, last thing I want to do is come across as disrespectful to anyone involved. Currently I'm using a set of steel toe cap safety boots with a set of goggles and a lower face mesh mask just to start me off with.

Vietnam I think i'm going to start off with, get me into the swing of things, then if I enjoy that start on a Falklands Era one. Yeah that what I noticed, loads in multicam, few snipers in full ghillies which looked good. Got to give it to this one guy, turned up in full WW1 gear, gun as well, used a gasmask as facepro (think it was an airsoft designed fake made for facepro) had a whistle to sound off when we were playing attack/defend, even put his steel pot helmet on his bayonet and raised his gun to try and work out enemy postions, had a lot of repect for him.

I was thinking of going for a Vietnam war era US soldier outfit, also considered a British Falklands era outfit but felt that would have been more of a no-no than the Vietnam era outfit due to the amount of ex British service members who use airsofts sites. Yeah I understand you, I'd never claim to be someone I'm not if you get what I mean.

Went to my first Skirmish last weekend, thoroughly enjoyed myself. I turned up in tracksuit bottoms and a long blue t shirt, while almost everyone else there was camouflaged in a way. So I don't stick out like a sore thumb next time I go I'd like to invest in a uniform of some sort. What I want to know though, is it okay to recreate the outfits of soldiers from certain wars/times/countries etc or is that frowned upon? I don't really want to annoy or offend people, just want peoples opinions so I can make the morally correct decision.

Airsoft in an old warehouse sounds amazing I won't lie, glad you've pointed that one out, I looked at Bunker but I wasn't aware they had the CQB site as well. Think I'm giving one in Ammanford a go this weekend but I'll definitely look further afield for the future.

Hi, Lockdown has kind of inspired me to want to get out and do more once it ends and places start to reopen, Airsoft is the main one. Any Welsh players here have any recommendations for shops and sites to play at and your experiences with said places?

This may sound a really silly question but I’ve bought a crane battery pack for an AEG and it comes with a really tightly wrapped clear shrink wrap layer around each battery, so I take these off before using or do I leave them on? Silly question I know but after googling for a bit I haven’t found a straight answer.
