Guys, filters are ammo, not cleaning equipment.

Taiwangun Shipping Disruption (Brexit Related Content)
tinkle60 replied to Speedbird_666's topic in General Discussion
That's pretty crazy, I've been hit with 12% duty for gear before under the textiles tariffs, but that looks even more than that. Was the shipping cost expensive (tax calculated on that too) or perhaps someone assessed it with the dollar amount in pounds? I had a work package that came in like that once, tax bill was calculated with the japanese Yen value in pounds. -
Agreed but I don't think it's going to be an easy task, think of all the subdivisions and niches within airsoft, I wouldn't want to be in charge of trying to keep everyone happy.

C-tech Aegis Enhanced Electronics Set for Gbls das
tinkle60 replied to TheCage's topic in Latest News
Yeah it really should, but they don't. Rather amusing that a bit of rain can ruin a day or weekend with a £1600 gun. Plus have you seen the cost of the standard components? -
I feel like it was years ago when G&G announced they were working on a gearbox mechanical trigger.

Spam-tastic as well.

I don't feel strongly either way about that. I mean, I don't think they have a price match policy or promise but someone makes you an offer, you choose whether to accept, don't accept or make a counter offer which they can accept or not.

Ha! I think I know the culprit, shows how much damage a single person can do.

Depends how old you're talking. I know of good and bad characters that have come and gone over the years, staff turnover is probably not that high for the retail industry in general, but I guess higher than you would want for a small specialist store.

I'm gonna weigh in here because I know the fact is the point of sale is a plugin on the website, so it's working off the same stock file, and the website is a magento build with the stock levels being driven by a cloud based inventory management system. Stock problems are due theft, loss, damage and over a decade gone by with only 2-3 stock takes done on an inventory of over 5000 lines by underpaid and under-appreciated staff. So it's more like fresh paint, interior and fittings and maybe even the electronics, but yes, everything else is still rusty and old.

Been playing on PC. Enjoying very much. I'm not a usually a fan of RPGs but all the guns and gear are doing it for me.

Mags don't have o-rings in them. It will have come from your speedloader where it's meant to stop BBs falling between fills.

Actually, the 2 possibilities are the player who filled out the form and the retailer who entered it onto the system. But the one with the power to change it is the site, unless of course you are a member of a site who also runs a UKARA retail operation and entered your form.

No bang, no kill. I would take an illegal throw, I'm there to play airsoft not judge people's throwing skills. Although I have seen marshals at the mall instruct people to not take 'illegal' throws.

I have the Talos trousers also, and not impressed with the wierd fit. I've never come across another pair of medium sized trousers where the hard limit was 33". Also cut like 70s flares.

CQB Blitz Whitechapel (London)?
tinkle60 replied to Alex34's topic in Skirmish Sites, Stories & Reviews
Yes, per hour, it's cheaper at the mall. But as an outing for me living in London, I spend less money. However, I'm not keen on the uncertainty of games getting cancelled, I haven't played with Airborne since then but I have heard about a lot of games getting cancelled. It doesn't add up because Airborne don't own the site, they pay the leaseholder for the time slots they advertise so I guess if they increased the length of the game the fee would also go up accordingly. Anyway, I'm not trying to sell it, just offering my opinion. -
This is the theory behind grey, mostly what people have said already. I think the guy oversells it a bit, but the basic principle is sound.

I don't know if you have a railcard but the cheapest fare I can get is £18 return Blitz - £30 + maybe £1 in petrol Mall - £35 + £18 train + £3 tube I have spent less money. What I lose in playing and travel time, I gain in time with my family. -
You could pick up a G&P AR variant which would be robust externally and give you good reliability and performance. Or pick up some of the TM high cycles.

'A guy from wolf' with that kind of feedback is highly unlikely to be the individual who decided on the 'capacity' at Bunker 51. Those complaining about prices should bear in mind the location, residential property in that area is worth over £13k per square meter right now.Let be conservative and say you get 3 hours play for your £30 and compare that to the laser tag at the same location which is £10 for 20 minutes if you pre-book. It's a sad fact that the cost of living is higher in the capital than the rest of the country, and that obviously affects the cost of recreation as well. For me, living in London zone 2, it's way cheaper than going to the Mall (which I do enjoy). Half hour drive with free parking or £3 by the tube. Also means I don't have to get up as early and I'm home in time for dinner. Back to the OP, I've played at Blitz once with Airborne. There was about 30-odd players, and I still enjoyed myself, however I can put up with a slower pace of play as I'm unfit and lazy. If you prefer better flowing games, then 20 is probably better, however with less players, if someone has to skip a round or doesn't pull their weight then there is greater impact on a teams performance. -
^ me too! I actually already started this year, just a pistol, holster and T1 to go. Also on to do list: TM Next Gen based DMR a 7" AR details to be determined.

I have 2 pairs of salomons, short for urban/indoor terrain and a taller pair for more uneven terrain. I would be wary of Karrimor stuff with a low price at sports direct. They are actually owned by sports direct now. I'm not all the products are sh*t now, most of my outdoor gear was karrimor when I was younger so I have fond memories of it too, however, it wouldn't surprise me that they are producing lower quality products and enticing people into the chav haven with the established brand reputation.
