The trigger has fried and the gears are badly worn. My plan is to get a new gun and keep the G&G as a dmr project in the making.

Has anyone got an Armalite M15 Defense M-Lok 10" Valuepack AEG ASG like this https://www.airsoftzone.co.uk/armalite-m15-defense-m-lok-10-valuepack-aeg-asg.html looking at getting one after my G&G decided it didn’t want to be a gun anymore 😔. Is the ASG a decent weapon?

The site I play (woodland) is full auto everywhere but in buildings is limited to 3 second bursts. I play mainly in semi but it’s nice to switch to auto if behind a bush to actually have a chance to get a bb through or if I’m laying down suppressive fire. There is no bang rule just a gentleman’s surrender which normally ends in a trade. I don’t think I would go if it changed to single shot only.

The nozzle was attached to the tappet plate. I did start getting feeding issues but I was like a mid feed for every 20 shots. Not being on a field I found that out by trying to figure out if the chrono was broke.

FIXED. changed back to the old nozzle and measures the new nozzle was ever so slightly bigger so obviously pushed the bb forwards before letting the air go. Hence why the paper test didn’t show. My guess being the bb was already half way down the barrel before the air hit it. Now I need to buy a correct nozzle. But for now I’m back to 285fps on .25s.

I think it could be the nozzle. I didn’t measure the old one I just went off advise. I’m going to swap the old nozzle back in and check FPS again.

I need some help. I have just put a new air nozzle with an o ring and a 6.03 barrel on my g&g, I was previously getting 285 FPS on .25s I am not down by 100 FPS. I have done the paper test and it didn’t move so I know I am getting a good air seal. The barrel is around 100mm longer than the standard, due to my stupid mis calculation. Could it be the barrel length that has took 100 FPS off me?

Well that’s a shame 😂 I have ordered a nozzle and shim kit, my thinking being that if I’m there may as well shim the gears.

Do I need to open the gearbox to change the air nozzle? Can it be done just be prying the tappet plate down?

I currently use nuprol either .25 or .28. Depending on weather. The range is ok It’s the accuracy where I am getting the issue I seem to have bbs flying all over. And I have to nearly full hop with .28 to get acceptable range. It chronos at 310 on .20 straight from the box. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about the G&G barrels being made from rubbish metals. I’m fairly new to all this but I don’t want to splash a load of cash on a new gun if I can get this one to keep groupings a little tighter.

I will have a look thanks. Would you personally run flat hop or r hop? I am aiming for better groupings as my current set up has proven to be a bit wild.

I’m wanting to change my inner barrel from the standard 6.05 to a 6.03 in my G&G CM18 Mod1. The current barrel is 375mm. I’m struggling to find a tight bore at 375mm. Is it worth going bigger and adding a mock suppressor to cover the inner barrel. Thinking like a 450mm. Also looking a r hopping as well, possibly looking at changing the hop up to a Maxx unit. Can anyone offer any advice. Thanks in advance

It would be between me and 2 others they have yet to buy anything and we are all looking at getting the same set up.
