    THE TM MWS thread

@rocketdogbert Cheers man, have already found a shop in the Netherlands to re-thread it though, probably a little bit more cost efficient considering it'd have to be shipped overseas twice @Fissure All the Strike Industries parts are bought in Poland, at Specshop.pl (which is a wonderful store, will throw up a review in the coming days). Pretty much the only store that has a decent selection of Strike Industries parts. Other than that they have a bunch of MagPul stuff as well and wide variety of both real and airsoft accessories. Must say I have returned the Pit Viper Stock and the Anti-Walk Pins. The stock was too small for my frame and the pins can not be fitted to the MWS. Getting an adapter made for the real flashhider at the same store that's going to re-thread the buffertube. They will also re-thread the upper for the rail while they are at it. The Iron Airsoft trigger is installed but I accidentally broke something so I am going to have to wait for the replacement part (which at the moment I could only find in Japan at Impulse101) to continue. Doesn't really matter because all the re-threading work won't be done for the next three weeks so updates will be scarce unfortunetely...Guess I will have to start fiddling with the new build for my GHK M4(if I am allowed to say so here in the MWS forum 🤣). Internally I have installed the tan bucking, SixG super nub and the Prommy inner barrel but seeing as someone broke something in my MWS, I haven't been able to test it yet... EDIT: picture of the trigger housing, broke the detent for the safety selector. Flat face trigger looks sweet though!

Yeah sorry, that is indeed what I meant. Most stuff needs a little filing to fit but the buffer tube won’t fit at all unfortunately.

It has finally arrived! Small edit: Didn't know the MWS couldn't take real buffertubes Any way around this?

Figured I'd get a nice piece of cloth for when I start properly working on the MWS

@Jammanic If you don't mind ordering overseas, JK Army, Rainbow8 and WGC Shop have them in stock. Otherwise, Fire Support has them in stock aswell I just heard!

@Cipher-032 Close one! I'd probably have the same reaction. Mine should be on its way soon hopefully 🤞 Do let us know how it functions. I probably won't be installing mine until I have all the external parts aswell(depending on what arrives first).

@PopRocket123 Before my airsoft break I had a GHK for recoil, and an MWS for speed. I sold everything though and I'm currently also contemplating what I am going for. I did order an aluminium buffer though. It's the G&P one which can be made heavier (it has 3 weights included) but I am not exactly sure how they work...and how well they fit. If they will be bouncing back and forth inside the buffer itself it will stay empty. Other than that I am slightly worried it will break the MWS one way or another.

@RoninHun I live in the Netherlands . So considering where this forum is based, probably not around the corner haha.

@RoninHun If I can get my hands on a chrono I will let you know, should really get one but it's at the bottom of my nigh endless list of stuff I need (want). Maybe I will try and borrow one or test it in the gunshop near me. Will update in this topic of course

@RoninHun Cool man! Have not installed it yet, still need to get my hands on the SixG super nub and some external parts which are on their way. Want to do it all at once during the weekend (provided everything arrives in time). But the more FPS the better, as I will only be using it for shooting targets with a few mates.

@Immortal Any luck with scope yet? Got some goodies in today! Should've taken the week off to get all my packages 😄

If you are opting for scope perhaps a budget range Vortex? Love all my Vortex products and they also have lifetime warranty. The Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 is 150 euro's here so not too expensive.

@Daanios I think that's just the TM MWS CQBR upper, not a VLTOR upper or something, correct me if I am mistaken.
  15. Ordered once from them and not quite satisfied. The pricing is great but it took 5 days before the item got actually shipped, which in this day and age is rather poor. When asking about it they said it was busy in their warehouse which to me isn't really an excuse (to a certain extent it might be but not 5 days). On the other hand though, they did actually answered when I sent them an email asking what was going on, so props for that. Will order from them again in hopes of getting faster dispatch times!
  16. Great store with quick shipping and a large range of products. When looking for specific items they are always one of the first few stores I check. Although they don't always have everything in stock, I found that their stock alert actually works!

@hunter511 The forward assist is real steel but I had to grind it down quite a bit. If I would have been more careful (read: patient) I could have probably kept the functionality because at this moment it does not function anymore. I might order a new one to try again though. Also all the fancy uppers and lower I have seen are rather ridiculously priced unfortunately

    THE TM MWS thread

@Davegolf Thanks for the tips, will definetely take them into account. Must admit I order the Prommy inner barrel and the tan bucking. All that's left is the nub which I will get to after the weekend @Cipher-032 I'm more of a collector than a player really, wouldn't want to get a scratch on it haha. It's like that with everything I buy though, I rather not use all that fancy new stuff to keep it new...weird I know... @RoninHun Looking sweet, love the combat grey! Just put on some "upgrades" today though! A PTS Radian Charging Handle, a Vortex Crossfire Red Dot, a Magpul Miad 1.1 grip, an MFT Minimalist stock (which is temporary) and a Strike Industries Forward assist 😍 this is going to cost me so much money...

    THE TM MWS thread

Hey guys, Just a quick introduction as I stumbled on this topic. I'm fairly new to this forum but signed up because there was an Mk23 for sale on here which I had to have! After signing up and managing to get my hands on the Mk23 I started going over the rest of the forum. Having just received my Krytac CRB-M after a 3 year airsoft hiatus I came across this topic...unfortunately (for my wallet). After having read all 39 pages I ordered a MWS which I received yesterday. Damn what a beauty and how much more fun it is than a Krytac. The Krytac is up for sale already and the money from that will all go into my MWS, having pre-spent some of it already. My aim for the MWS is to kit it out with, where possible, exclusively real steel parts. I will not be using it in skirmishes but just for a bit of target practice. From what I have been reading on here the Modify Tan Bucking and the SixG supernub are pretty much the best combo. Is it still topdog or are there other good combinations I could look into? Range and accuracy are most important for me, FPS limit basically unlimited as I won't be going out in the field with it. What other good upgrades can you guys recommend? I was looking at Prometheus 370mm inner barrel which was specifically for the MWS, is that any good? So thanks a lot guys for the great info, the awesome pictures in this thread and for robbing me!
