He's decided we are in the wrong. Said he doesn't believe the marshal did anything wrong with my guns. Accused us of being late on an open forum(despite being there an hour early, one of the first in fact) and not pointing out who was to blame as I apparently knew. I didn't know I was there as a marshal. Said I didn't try and engage when he was the one who walked off. So, losing battle here. I paid via paypal and have stuck a claim in. Bollocks to em. Wonder if I'll land an f&o ban.

We left the bullshit early tbf, but there wasn't much time left anyway. And they'd instigated a further break on top. The lad I was with was raging. I tried to engage with the manager, he walked off when we said we were going home, I was expecting a "why" or similar but no, just walked off. They were all but one in their office as we left. The marshal outside having a fag was very receptive and apologetic, no issues with him if he reads this. It was F&O The Mill. Honestly, used to love the site, pre covid. But that last night goes straight in at number 1 of shit airsoft events.

What I haven't really mentioned yet is the chrono marshal damaged my tanaka revolver-one of the rubber seats trying to eject a shell (pegasus system-no shells) And rammed an aeg m4 magazine inside my ghk g5. It's winding me up, massively. May have started melting down on facebook. Though, I fixed it, can't prove he did so. But it wasn't damaged before. And luckily I had a spare, I have a few tanaka pegasus saa parts for emergencies. I wasn't going to bring that up as, to be honest, it wasn't the end of the world. But if I hadn't have got a spare, then I would have had a very expensive paperweight.

I'm chasing them for a refund but they are denying any wrong doing. Paid £20 for 20 minutes of airsoft. If I'd have been running a hot gun or being a throbber then fair enough, but it was like being in primary school. Or the army.

It's not a figure, it's just a marshal pulling the trigger and showing you. Not that it bothered us, running gbbrs you can't spam a trigger with a total ammo count of 120. It was purely the treating everyone like naughty schoolkids.

Attended a game last night where they stopped the game and made everyone sit in the safezone because of a ROF issue with a couple of players, because they didn't know who it was. Has anyone else dealt with this sort of bollocks? It was the cherry on the cake of a poor evening.

Guns You Think Are Good, but You Hate Them Anyway.
Cromulon1994 replied to Adolf Hamster's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Tokyo Marui recoils. Yes, they are good out the box. Just they are not the be all and end all. The recoil I suppose is fine if you've never had anything else, but frankly it's just a wobble. Just buy a GBBR. Also, they have a their GBB AK coming. With faux wood. That's a poor effort. -

Top one is an Escort with a singlepoint and a tracer unit hidden in the foam filled moderator, bottom one is an old Tokyo Marui (non high cycle) They both take the same mags which is a bonus.

Shipping an Airsoft Replica From the UK to Germany.
Cromulon1994 replied to Sniper780's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I recently sold a rare pistol to German chap on here. (Who was and is a decent guy) Long story short, don't bother. Tracking number went dark, courier wasn't interested, I assume it was destroyed by the Germans. I send RIFs to the states and to a few European countries with little hassle. Germany, they have some very strict laws and it's on my shit list. -
I've got 3 GR20s, all work. 65 MKIV charges and slightly more percussion caps. Unsure how to price these, whether better to split or keep as a set, and they would certainly not be able to be posted?

Hi, that's a lovely little collection. I'm one of the raresoft guys. The Marui, that would be something to advertise at about the £450 mark. It looks like the CAW kit. Looks like the original reciever is there too? M1 carbine, £200, though a small market. T2 Shotgun, £275. Hold out for the right buyer, they are much better made than the S&T ones and properly boxed. There is a Terminator collectors group that would be a good place to get interest. The marui AK, is that still plastic bodied or has it been guardered? Systemas I don't know much about, sorry. The HFC Mauser carbine more along the £120-£140 ballpark. More if you find spare mags especially short ones.

I See Novritsch Has Noticed These Forums Then....

I didn't notice either till you pointed it out. Urge to spend lots of money on a shit gun intensifies. Nah, not really. -
Ive flown RC for years. Just...no. While I still believe the safest option for airsoft aerial surveillance is an electric ducted fan assisted glider, attaching airsoft guns to it is a poor idea.

That looks fantastic but I try and avoid AEGs as much as possible, though wish you all the best with it.

Asahi made a G11, but for some reason never released it. Shame. *could also have been sun project but more likely asahi. There is only one photo of it.

A Viable Double Barrel Airsoft Shotgun
Cromulon1994 replied to Cromulon1994's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
You don't need to, as they're now firing bbs down a drainpipe. Aps co2 shells are 18 joules with a solid projectile. If you bought the 1 joule version I think it would be horrendously underpowered. I originally used the shells with just the primer hole, and that was too restrictive. Here's a short, shit video. https://youtube.com/shorts/EzElkb28-vU?feature=share -
A Viable Double Barrel Airsoft Shotgun
Cromulon1994 replied to Cromulon1994's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
£170 on the gun. That's been all I've had to spend, I have 22mm copper lying around and tools. As i said the shells are free, and use paper wadding like cheapskates use in APS shells. It's not hi tech at all, but that's why it works so well. Essentially the same sort of thing you do to a hwasan with copper pipe to make it use madbull shells. -
I've had a couple of Hwasans. The faults are 1. The triggers are just plungers so are a bit odd to use 2. The triggers are made from edam and break 3. Expensive and finnicky shells I've also done 3 denix 1878 coach gun conversions. The faults are 1. Denix 1878s now don't open 2. They have to be drilled and pins added which is a little difficult 3. The sears are made from dairylea 4. Uses expensive and finnicky shells I bought a Umarex T4E. Took 10 minutes to remove the inner barrels, cut down slightly at the breach end, remove the rubber paintball retainers, and add 2.5 inches of 22mm copper pipe in each breach. Then, 1 minute per shell to make viable. I use spent 20g shells which I get bags of totally free from a local gunshop. They have to be trimmed and the primers knocked out and a 10mm hole drilled in the rear. I'm yet to paint it, but the results are that the shells hold 30bbs, have a proper sawn off spread, and are disposable. (Not that I want to lose them but it means I can eject and reload on the fly without worrying about shells at 10 quid a pop). It works that well I'm going to be buying a second. The downside is it's not as realistic as the 2 other options but it is well made, like the H8R, and is a genuinely useable shotgun.

It does, Shoei. You'll pay £1200 upwards for one, but they are just about the best made airsoft guns going.

Finished my DH17 in principal tonight. A few little details maybe to add but I prefer it with the stock still fitted, rather than the on screen pistol type. It's a smart team sterling, with a homemade aluminium forend and a real singlepoint OEG.
