Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Cromulon1994 replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
I genuinely don't want to knock anyone for modifying a gun. I just think the price is very very optimistic. -
Started another set up, for either outdoors or if I go alone, or on the bike, as it'll all stuff into a rucksack. Sawn off m870, gotta pick up a bandolier and literally any random shit works with a vault suit.

It could be argued it's almost worth paying his over inflated shitcunt price so that knobitch doesn't get another sale. -

A cherry in box fallout 4 collectors edition, an eBay win for 21 quid. Given the game to my brother. The pip boys been painted, a donor phone found and resurrected from a sock drawer, and its time to stuff the electrics for my claymore inside. Then I'm gonna do a basic vault suit and that's my outdoor set up for this year. -

260 quid, gunfire they're £135. Unless it's actually a wood stocked one then they're £180, new. Photo presumably taken in Australia. -

I'm about 90% done on this now, star wars DLT 20 inspired thing. I'll probably change the stock, was going to keep it but it will just finish it off, tomorrow it gets weathered. The barrel is chemically blackened, and just needs its heat colouration adding. There's a functional laser in the small diameter tube on top of the vented outer barrel, a tracer unit, and a nerf sight maguivered onto the front of a red dot. Other little greeblies have been added, and there's a couple still to go on. A circuit board from something, the flash moderator is mounted where they put them on the film m16 based guns. So it's all functional. And it's all pretty solid.

Not after 3d printed parts, after a metal build, and kitbashed the old fashioned way. More fun.

Another one. Twice the going rate of a new one imported (still relatively avaible from Asian retailers) Aaand, the market for posh pistols has pretty much evaporated. -
Started making headway into my dlt20 inspired rifle. Couldnt find an agm stg44 l, and even then they're a bit "meh" so base is an ics c15. Fore end is home made to the sizes of an m1919 barrel shroud. Got halfway through making a steel one and burnt out that many drill bits I restarted with aluminium. Still to be done are side panels, top tube, a sight arrangement more like the film guns, and an inbuilt torch and laser hidden in some of the "greeblie" bits. There will be no 3d printed or resin bits on this one. I will probably keep the stock original as I like it. Everything will then be disassembled, polished and then chemically blackened. I'm about 6 hours into this already. And it has a tracer hidden in the shroud.

Dammit I've just found that absolute gold and I thought macks was where it needed to be. Seems you got there first. 80 quid new on Taiwan gun. His ageing job is wank. -

Bought an ICS C15. It's old tech but tbh less to go wrong and they had a reputation of being rather good when they were new. I want it for an a280 or DLT20 type build. Probably more DLT20 as I can hide a conventional tracer unit inside the m1919 style barrel. I wish I'd not started watching the mandalorian now -
If it's one of the official vinyl ones then they take bb hits perfectly fine. Better than some actual airsoft masks to be honest. Just cut mesh eyes and bonded it inside the mask, and drilled a few small vent holes around the nose mouth and chin. And then tested. I once bought a face mask from patrol base that when I tested (with a 280fps pistol) the bb went straight through the eye protection.

It's 20 years old and all original. Tbh I'd rather it come with the standard bazookas and deal with it myself than without them and some shite ebay stubbies. -

Sold most of my gear to help raise money for a new bike, really slimmed it down. Just have an evo and a couple of grenades and a claymore. I regret nothing. -

Yes, it was a great deal. Parting a few bits out from it that I dont need so if you want a cheap official hardcase let me know. -

I've gone back to a scorpion evo. Predictable, common, a bit dull looking but they perform very very well. And I really like the last round stop function. I got one with the evo hardcase, 9 mags, eotech clone and a few other bits for £250 so I'm pretty happy. -
This is from about 9 months ago, maybe more, but I found a pic of the GBB Uzi I cobbled together. My TM trigger broke, so I bought a kwc mini Uzi, and made this work. The bolts cocked on the photo, it fires from an open bolt but it's not full travel.
