Yes I agree but if somone was to select specs based wholey on EN166 they could be mislead into thinking bolle tactical are not rated high enough as they can only achieve F. My point is that there shouldn't be a mass disregard for EN166 F rated specs as some are perfectly fine (bolle tactical among others), especially when most reputable manufacturers will have there own safety factors and will not be right on the lower limit to pass the test. (Sorry for hijacking the thread mods although I did recently buy a cheap second RIF, AGM SCAR L).

I totally agree I wouldn't even touch anything without the EN166 rating on it. My eyes might not be great but I don't want to loose them. Just pointing out that although there is potential for the energy of a bb hitting them to be higher then the rating majority of reputable manufacturers will have a safety factor there. I personally use a variety of bolle glasses all rated to F as they are part of the PPE used at my place of work.

On the whole CE marking eye protection do people realise that the highest rating for specs is F? If you want to achieve B they must be Goggles which fully encase your eye from outside impact? I see a lot of people saying what is good and no good but without full understanding of the standard they are tested to. Edit: has been a few years (2013) since I checked this mind and I am happy to be corrected if wrong.

Recent order just arrived. SY 226 (might even been Dentonboy who spotted it the other week) and a WELL mp5 retraction stock. Anyway prompt dispatch with GLS/ parcel force 5day delivery, nicely packed and both show no signs of damage. Stock slides fine however seems a little flimsy when fully extended. Pistol stripped and seems decent but I am waiting for my gas to be delivered before I comment further.

Out of curiosity I'm looking at what connectors / plugs you guys use for your batteries. I managed to get my batteries off a friend with them all on XT60 so I had to change the connection on my RIF. Simple job and I do feel like they are a much better connection than the tamiya which was on there previously.

Decent review to be fair. I understand how hard it is with editing and writing reviews in general. I like the idea of the split gearbox but out of curiosity how often have you used that functionality during the time of having the CXP Captain?

Anyone got any further comments on these or any links to pictures of yours and loadouts? I'm really interested in getting one and love the two tone tan lower but mag mis feeding is a real bugbear of mine. Cheers in advance!

How do the rounds feed through that mag adapter? Is the hole drilled or just printed with that there? You don't happen to have an x-ray view of the design? I been working on aligning two feed points and I'm unsure on what radius to give to prevent a jam

Not to bad a price that! Last time I checked it was coming in around £400 then import tax on top. Tinkercad seems a little easier to use that AutoCAD, more a building in blocks way of doing it.

Pretty good work there. I keep contemplating getting a 3D printer but the misses is worse than the finance department at work! What software do you use for your drawings?

I plan on getting dimensions done this weekend and then float it around see if anyone can create something and at what price Dimensions I was thinking was both Stanag and mp5 magazine (top section including mag release) and then the magwell on the speed loader. Is there anything that is likely to be important that I may miss?

More me having a lazy thumbs when loading, wheres my friend has a pump action speed loader which has a M4 magwell I agree MP5 mags look weird in them

Anyone ever attempted making magwells? Or adapters ie fit my MP5 mags into a 416?

Hi, Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but does anyone know of an off the shelf magwell adapter for an M4 / Stanag to take MP5 mags. Or even where I could find drawings for both magwells for a 3D printer? Ideally UK as evike have AP10 adapter that looks to work however it's double the cost with shipping etc Cheers in advance!

Hi all, First off I'm new to airsoft having played a few games at All Arms Airsoft and a game down at Trojan CQB. I will be looking to apply for my UKARA next year (doubt I'll be playing again over Christmas) and I was curious as to how long it takes to process? I have been looking at getting an MP5 rather than the usual M4/G36c that you see around and it seems firesupport have a great selection hence the enquiry on processing the UKARA with the distance between me and them. The ICS range seem quite popular from what I can tell and I'm curious other that the pistol grip is there any difference between the ICS-04 and ICS-08? And would the MAG mid-caps (had issues with rented rifles and hi-caps) work with this? Lastly any recommendations on kit, such as plaste carriers, pouches for MP5 magazines? And potential upgrades / addons to the MP5 or should I just stick to out the box for the first few months? Hopefully get a reply or two! (Wouldn't mind seeing some MP5 loadouts) Cheers in advance, Dave
