I'm using a ICS CXP.08 at the moment so is about the size of an MP5 with the stock retracted.

Don't use any grips as I find it more comfortable with my supporting hand around the magwell especially on a stubby gun like this one.

Don't use flashlights as my local places are all outdoors and during the day.

I do however have a red dot and lens protector, but in CQB it can be rare I use it as it is sometimes quicker shooting by instinct at those ranges.

    I normally use

    T1 optic
    Torch
    Foregrip

But i slightly upgraded that today to

    Grenade launcher
    PEQ 16

I have the standard iron sights on my HK416, although a cheap red/green dot reflex sight is on its way from china to also be top mounted. If you do fit a scope or sight with a lens then would recommend that you have a lens protector because many players have taken hits to them resulting in smashed glass.

I like using a long vertical foregrip as it suits my style of play and makes holding the gun more comfortable.

I have a cheap tactical light on the rails underneath in front of the foregrip which I can turn on or off with my finger. It is a basic 600 lumen light with strobe mode and does the job. It takes one 123A battery. Small enough to also fit under my pistol and can be quickly swapped over.

Lastly I have a two point Irene sling attached.

I use one here in Florida, at 90*+ Fahrenheit (don't know Celsius, but I guess 35?), and I'm a guy who fogs up anything I touch after 30 seconds. This, I do not.
    No fog: check
I took a full spray to the face with a P* ramped up to 450 and only scratched it.
    Heavy duty: check
    Customablility: huge
As with most masks, you can have trouble going ADS. I can not look down my AK sights with my mask, but I can look down the barrel, I'm only an inch high for the iron sights. M4 irons and standard profile RDSs are perfectly fine.

I love mine, and completely believe it's money well spent.

I think the Dye i4 mask is excellent and would recommend them. I bought mine on Amazon from BZ Paintball Supplies Ltd for £75 (free P&P), which saved about 25% off the normal price.

Their duel pane thermal lens is good, with a clear field of view and wide peripheral vision. I also bought a spare lens (Thermal HD) for the summer so that I can easily swap out the clear lens with one that will reduce sun glare. Yet again Amazon has retailer who sell spare lens for £20 instead of £35.

The ear protection on the mask is useful, soft padding which is comfortable and can be removed, and stops painful ear shots.

Dye i4 may be more expensive than some eyepro but I think it is worth the money for the level of protection the mask offers, the build quality, and the design which helps air flow in and out of the mask. Comfortable to wear for extended periods and only takes a few minutes to adjust the strap to get perfect fit.

I have experienced some fogging indoors when wearing a Fast helmet. This is due to the top air vents not being able to let all the heat / moisture escape out of the top of the mask when under the helmet. Wearing a balaclava and beanie hat with the mask over the top so that the vents are clear works a treat. I have recently invested in a pair of FANZ quick disconnect 9v fans (sold on eBay by fanzkit in Canada for £27) to mount on/in the mask but have yet to install and try them out. Hopefully the fans should solve the Fast helmet issue by moving more air through/around the mask.

Having goggles fog up is a recurring problem experienced by most of us at some time, and frequently asked here, so type the word 'fogging' into the search box and read through those threads.

Mesh often popular as they have good air flow and heats dissipates but like you I am not keen on them as the mesh plays havoc with my vision.

Randymanpipe has a good point about wearing helmets, they do cause more fogging as they make heat harder to escape, not so bad outside but indoors can be a pain. Nothing worse than not seeing what you are doing or where you are. I started off with the face mask and goggle combo with Fast helmet but still fogged using Bolle X1000. I now use the Dye I4 facemask which is best solution for me so far. The mask is shaped to keep breath away from eyes/lens but can still fog under a fast helmet as the top vents do not work as efficiently. No issues over a balaclava and beanie hat, where the mask is outside and the top vents are clear.

Fans can help with airflow, and the best goggles will be £100+ but worth it in the long run.

I have one, best eyepro I have used to date. Well worth the money. Aiming down rifle is fine. No time to reply fully, use search for 'fogging' and 'prescription' and read through previous posts on Dye i4. There have been several in last 3 months

Hi their just thought i would put a quick review up of the Sawfly glasses from revision, i have had these for 3 years now and to this day they have performed brilliantly. After using or goggle and glasses i won a pair of these at a event, i was a bit sceptical of them as i had never heard of revision at the time. A few shots with a 500fps bolt action at point blanked proved that they would stop a bb, and as i found out of the years stop fogging aswell (completely). I have always been one to sweat and all the other brands i used (viper, ess, bolle) fogged up badly, these have never fogged up even in rain or even collected condensation near the nose piece. Which brings me onto the next point of the nose piece itself made out of a soft gel it sits very comfortably on the nose and doesnt leave red marks after.
Last year i bought a spare clear lens as i already have a yellow lens, both are brilliant and at first the yellow may seem too bright but within 10 minutes your eyes get used to it and even in bright sun they are not too bright.
You can pick a pair of these up for around £20 and the deluxe kit for around £50 their are a bit more expensive than other but when your paying extra and your getting no fogging high quality glasses then its worth it. Thanks

I use them and yes they do fog up, better then some but still not amazing. Best goggles are probably turbofans...but they're bloody expensive

In terms of protection though they're excellent.
