Is there any difference between a Gen 2 and a Gen 3 gearbox as i've been told a gen 3 is easier to maintain. (size to fit gen 2 space within gun)?

Hi All, I recently got a J G G3 SAS which had a stock as standard, iv'e taken the stock off and rewired through the gun to make it a stubby. This is were the help is needed as i'm trying to buy a new stock butt c/w sling mount as like on the Jing Gong G3 SAS (T3SAS) Airsoft AEG (JG-096) any ideas where to get a spare from.

Its all about the people playing no matter what there age is!. I bet the so called kids say the same about the 50+ old men turning up in full combats 5 different guns. My boy is 15 and been going for about a 1year he takes his shots and sometimes comes home with a peppered body of welps he don't moan and plays the game . Like others have stated repeat is best and if a whipper snapper flanks you and shoot ya take it like a man. Same said to the young guns make it more fun. Play fair take your hits otherwise go back to paint balling where your hits can be seen. Like all hobbies if we don't have a younger up take it will die out as i've not seen any site accommodating zimmer frames

cut 3 coils off of the spring getting it chrono'd tomorrow to check if its enough.

I've emailled to see if any space Sunday thats why the questions on FPS as if there is space tomorrow night is spring cutting night, Rules are there for the safety of all, i'll go through the rigmarole of taking it apart fingers crossed as it looks great shame its closing.

I will cut spring down to suit, it was more the comment from earlier post that no chorno guns so i'm expecting hot guns regardless the 20fps loss to spring won't make much difference to me. .

I know its cheating but why are the tunnels 330fps, i watched video's and looks like no close quarters as its dark? what risks to players if its a 350fps gun as it can be used on there other sites

Any advice, earlier post states they don't chrono guns i only ask as i have a G3 which is at 350fps. should i just roll up with 0.20's and hope for best or get 0.23g to take fps down as i noticed that the web site states 330fps for epsom. Or do i break the gun down and cut the spring then buy a new spring to take it back up to 350.

I've used them no problems, delivered within a week for £10 delivery others charge much more

Not only did i fix the rifle, on Friday night when i was tinkering i found the original spring fell out of the upgrade spring case

Sorted it , got a bic and made the coils smaller to fit . See new photo

Hi Aengus, Just to let you know i'm not under 18 , I was merely looking at the point that the serious young players with responsible parents and responsible game site could they get RIF's instead of 2tones whilst being registered with the UKARA/VCRA. Seems silly that you can gift a RIF but they can't buy one?

No the gun was advertised as a 300fps 2tone shop brought but when chorno'd it was down at approx 200fps. It was an M4 carbine

My main point is towards the game sites validating the young person swell even if it was a longer period to make sure they played the sport, i was at a site on the weekend and a kid had a two tone but it wasn't powerful enough (approx 200fps two tone) he got shot all day long by 300+ fps rif guns. Also stated that the parents would be held responsible to any miss use.

Just been reading another post which pointed to the `UKARA register: Q: Ukara rules only over 18's may apply and hold registered data on the list, but it is perfectly legal to give your son/ daughter a RIF free of charge? Q:Why do UKARA not have an under 18's register where as long as they play and the site verify, the parents should be able to be a guarantee and held responsible for there kids. Q: would UKARA look at a change if an online petition was formed and submitted Q: Or is it a dead end and young adults have to half bright orange or parents that play. Thoughts:

Hi All, I was upgrade my L96 when i noticed that the trigger guard spring had left the building, I scoured the internet and don't seem to be able to find a replacement spring for an L96 trigger guard!. Any idears? where to find one or is it a new trigger set. See pict of offending runaway spring that is now missing.
