All the pics of the CA gun I can find show it with the gas blocks in black, whereas Ollie's has the light grey hue as per an A&K gun. The quick-change barrels might be compatible between brands admittedly but if it was a test gun the MoD was trying out it's unlikely they'd have swapped parts like that around between guns I reckon.
 
AFAIK nobody's manufactured an airsoft Minimi with the para stock and that thinner old-school 'Mk1' handguard but given where that gun's come from they probably took the US style handguard off and replaced it with the style we issue (that's my guess anyway).

I think the green goes well with any sort of woodland camo, but it does blend. The blue one is good for advertising/ standing out; this is a pos and a neg.
 
I have the tan and green one. The tan ones on my helmet for my CQB kit which is tan and black. The green is on my Vegetato kit.

it all depends what you want to do to be honest, but here are a few basics :-
 
since its a G&G clone, the madbull Daniel Defense Rail will drop straight on. that will give you some nice rail space up front for a foregrip. Grip pods can be had off ebay for £10
 
ant supplies do various optic adapters, including a 19mm(iirc) rail to 20mm ris adapter, and an ACOG adapter (the sight rail on the gun is either 18 or 19mm on the G&G so i think the army one is the same)
 
then for lighting there is the element LLM-01, looks great, eats batteries (get some rechargeable cr123's)
