Sweet nice one. Cheers bud. I'll definitely be there November. I'll be on the last game of the month. On the 30th. Will definitely pop in to say hi and try understand that Glaswegian twang. Haha.

Has anyone on here played a game at Gloucester prison? Is it a decent site? I like the look of this place and thinking of booking on for a game end of November as I'm on holiday that way. (Some how cleared it with the missus and she's happy for me to go)

Any ideas what's required to run a one off site?
Mtemprell replied to Mtemprell's topic in General Discussion
Cheers bud. That was my mind set too. I'm not shy of doing risk assessments (do them regularly at work the pain of working as an engineer) so that definitely will be getting done. Luckily I've spoken to people that live nearby the area and all are happy as long as I provide enough cover preventing bbs entering their property so that's a bonus there having the residents on side. -
My Missus would have died laughing if posted this. Then say I won't be playing Airsoft at all.

For me it's just this. Ive had a guy on one game day pissed out team didn't achieve one objective all day that he wouldn't say anything nice to any of our team. Bearing in mind we had a big disadvantage from the off that the other team had 90% regulars on and they worked with the marshalls to make things in their advantage (another thing I don't agree with as Marshalls should be neutral no matter who it is) and our team had all the first time players and rentals.

I can really get that from a modern prospective. One reason I only post Airsoft content on my Airsoft Instagram that has no connection to my main main socials. (Other than my photography one tagged in it) And Facebook I don't even use anymore so that doesn't worry me. But fully understand that concern. The full auto players are always annoying when they only use full auto even at 5m engagement distance. Like come on man over kill. But then again I'm a GBBR player so full auto is a rare thing for me. Suppose to some I may fall into a cringe as I use real caps and only engage when I can clearly see the enemy.

Hey dude from your prospective I can fully understand why you do what you do. No point making yourself ill. Well done on playing and doing what you do. So for you it's definitely not a cringe moment. Agree with the players who ridicule new or returning players because they haven't paid 1000s on guns and equipment. We all have our budgets and not everyone can buy expensive stuff. People forget some of these might be on an average wage and don't have the disposable income that others do, your life and wellbeing away from Airsoft comes first so can make the difference if it means paying the rent/mortgage or buying a new RIF and modding it.

Agreed. I had it last skirmish a guy shouting to me to push but he him self wasn't moving. Then moaned I didn't move.

First off before I start I want to say this post is not for poking fun at people who do cringe stuff in Airsoft it's merely a discussion on what you find cringe worthy in the sport, end of the day people doing these things are still having fun and enjoying them selves so I don't intend any offense towards anyone that does these things. Keep doing you and what you enjoy. Disclaimer done. I was wanting to know what do others in here find most cringe worthy in Airsoft as I'm finding I have a few that I find worthy. First for me is probably people who play as if they are someone in the real SF and post online pictures of them playing but allways blank out or blur their faces. Just don't get the reasoning behind it unless your embarrassed to admit you play Airsoft, even worse are the ones who go further and on game days will hang around all day with their face covered and not interact much with others, it's like come on man we are all here to have fun at least join in on the fun and socialise.

Looks good. Even if I'm a fan of just iron sights on mp5. Definitely more modern day practical with eotech

Do love a good 416. Nice haul there bud. -
Just another quick one. Does anyone know anywhere in the UK to purchase a rear sight tool? Only ones I can find are from the usa and not sure what the rules are on importing these.
-
Full agree with this. It's the old eBay syndrome where prices are pushed up because of greed.
-
I'll keep you in mind. I was planning to save it, 1 as a spare and 2 so if I want to run it A5 spec I have that ability. But I'll let you know bud once I buy a SEF trigger housing.
-
Cheers for the advice. I definitely do aim to buy the SEF trigger mech. I have my eye on one over on used Airsoft if it's still available come pay day. I shoot cqb alot so burst is not a necessity for me. I knew this forum wouldn't let me down on any info I needed. Thanks guys.

A nice one. Cheers. Bloody google I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

Question does anyone know if a rs hand guard will fit on vfc mp7? Wanting to make an Iranian embassy spec mp5 out of my newly acquired gun.

Just purchased my holy grail gun. The vfc mp5. Got it from a great seller at a bargain price. Can't wait to skirmish it, just needs a nozzle mod to bring FPS down to site levels. -

Over the past 48hrs or so has anyone else experienced site crashes when opening the main page up? On and off I've had it stuck on the loading screen with the logo on both my phone and on pc.

Does anyone here know what steps are required to run a private game on private land? I know the basics like making sure I have liability insurance that covers Airsoft. Restricting public access to the land and providing adequate protection around the site to prevent stray bbs. I am also a fully trained first aider so this is covered. Risk assessment will be carried out before hand and so on. I ask as me and a few friends want to organise a one of land on some private land. I have a farmer friend who has kindly offered us to use his unused barn area. It's fully private land with full land owners permission and from my air rifle days I know this is considered ok but not sure for Airsoft and I want to organise it properly as some of my friends might invite their friends so I want to be covered legally incase of any complaints or issues.

I remember these coming out when I started playing over 12 years ago, so they are a fairly dated design and one of the first HPA out the box set ups. It definitely isn't brand-new if used 3 times, more lightly used like new. Also forgot to add why not post more images of everything like the eotech all we see is a box and no actual pictures of the sight so we don't know the condition of that or if the optics are starting to delaminate.
