  1. Does anyone here know what steps are required to run a private game on private land? I know the basics like making sure I have liability insurance that covers Airsoft. Restricting public access to the land and providing adequate protection around the site to prevent stray bbs. I am also a fully trained first aider so this is covered. Risk assessment will be carried out before hand and so on. I ask as me and a few friends want to organise a one of land on some private land. I have a farmer friend who has kindly offered us to use his unused barn area. It's fully private land with full land owners permission and from my air rifle days I know this is considered ok but not sure for Airsoft and I want to organise it properly as some of my friends might invite their friends so I want to be covered legally incase of any complaints or issues.
  2. I remember these coming out when I started playing over 12 years ago, so they are a fairly dated design and one of the first HPA out the box set ups. It definitely isn't brand-new if used 3 times, more lightly used like new. Also forgot to add why not post more images of everything like the eotech all we see is a box and no actual pictures of the sight so we don't know the condition of that or if the optics are starting to delaminate.
  3. You never know. I have the we hipower MK3 and the original p35 they aren't bad guns but they are WE so bound to fail before long.
  4. Give it 10 years and YouTubers will be retired or jobless due to AI videos taking over.
  5. It was a fairly interesting video of his. As you say he is a bit dry get much better videos from Ian on forgotten weapons and Jonathan furgason on royal armoureries page.
  6. The collection of pistols I've built up. From a small Beretta to the big bugger deagle.
  7. I'd love too but it's bonded to me now and it won't let me release it. It now has possession of me.
  8. Hand canon vs bigger hand canon. Love this thing yet to shoot it properly yet, been looking for one of these for a while and as soon as I seen one pop up here in the classified with the AW kit I had to buy it.
  9. When the browning hp needs a full strip down and clean. Knocker valve was sticking slightly was worried it was about to snap the way they like to, luckily all is good so rebuilt and lubed all good now.
  10. Yea definitely was a game changer for RC aircraft. So much lighter than a nitro set up and more effective than brushed motors.
  11. Not sure their advantages in Airsoft as like you I've been out of it 10 years so catching up my self. But I can say brushless motors will definitely run a bit better with more torque and in a slightly lighter package, it's like the move in power tools from brushed to brushless, 20 years ago brushless drills where a niche on the market but their potential was soon realised and within 10 years they took over. I imagine in Airsoft they'll offer fewer advantages as end of the day lower torque motors aren't the end of the day.
  12. Some one must have said Mack's has been very quiet past few days so they decided to do this for us haha.
  13. That doesn't sound too bad at all. Done a good job there. Motor hight might be a tad high that's all I'd say, but through my phone speakers I'd says it's a good job.
  14. You sure it isn't a super dooper do all riffle that can reach out to the end of the world and back again.
  15. Good luck and enjoy bud. It is definitely worth the effort for the end product. To know you made a gun run so much better by yourself.
  16. The way I shim up is remove everything out the gearbox and get just the 3 gears. The bevel gear have no shim on the Bottom and fit the other half of the box and test to see what play you have, then start at smallest shim and keep testing till have minimal play, you don't want it tight up otherwise it won't spin freely. For the spur fit it in with the Bevel and using a feelers gauge find the gap at the base of the gear to the bearing and use the shim that is same as that gap. Repeat again with fitting top of gear box and shimming till the play is minimal. Repeat again for the sector gear. Once done screw the gear box together with all gears and shims inside and test for correct meshing and try manually turning the gears to ensure free movement. Once your happy grease up gears and bearings and rebuild the box. It is a slow process but at the end there's big pride in what you've achieved.
  17. Went today to rift Blackstone cqb with a small group of 4. What can I can, such a great set up they have there and very well managed by the staff. If you haven't been before it's basically a whole town build inside a storage warehouse fully complete with loads of static furnishings to make it look genuine. It was my first game with my new vfc hk416a5 and got to say I love this gun for sure, was the perfect main weapon for this environment. First game of the day was a capture the flag game, one team started upstairs sporn and other team in the down stairs sporn, 4 flags to capture, I was on blue team, first run of this game was a draw and then after 20min a quick change around and start from the other sporn, unfortunately we lost this round with just 1 flag to 3 red flags. This site it's self has so much potential and so many opportunities for different scenarios, especially with their full light and sound control of the area so they can make it look day light then next game night time, throw in some appropriate sound effects like dogs barking, planes flying overhead, lightning sounds and lighting. Really made the game for me. Would fully recommend this site to any cqb nuts.
  18. Ouch he's definitely smoking something crazy.
  19. That's the one. I bought it years ago when it was newish to the market. Never again.
  20. That is true. As described is always a gamble. One reason I like to view any gun I purchase before buying.
  21. It's definitely on the higher side but not a rip if it is as described. Brand new your talking £460 ISH from UK suppliers.
  22. Cheers bud. Wasn't sure if this was steel on the V3 as there's so much conflicting information out there about V2 and V3 differences.
  23. Hey guys. Just got my 416 and love it. Just one thing I've noticed it's a A5 gen3 but for some reason the trigger seems to be alloy not steel. Is this something they changed as everything thing else inside it is steel and the gen 3 upgrades are present.
  24. I was thinking of trying this site as it's in my end of the country will definitely give it a go.
