Just a real quick UKARA question! When I went to my first skirmish last week and was signing in (my site requires that under 18s must be signed in by an adult), I saw people getting their stamps for UKARA. If I was to get one of my parents, when signing me in, to get a stamp and after the 3 games over the 2 months period gain a UKARA membership, would this be ok? I could then obtain a RIF as it would be a gift from one of my Parents. Not sure if I was very clear, so sorry if I'm not.

Yeah I guess so. It's too expensive for me to just go out and purchase a full loadout, so this loadout will probably take a few months to complete. I'm going to get my olive PC soon so whilst I'm saving up for other clothing, i'll probably just wear a black hoodie and olive coloured jeans underneath it.

Yeah I've done a little more searching on the net of inter and I think that an olive drag plate carrier will go well with an A-Tacs FG loadout, so I'll probably begin to develop that Edit: I've had a slight change of mind and am maybe going to purchase a WAS Elite Ops DCS OD plate carrier soon...

So I'm going to start to develop a loadout and I've found a plate carrier that I like and it looks like a good PC to build up on as it has plenty of velcro and MOLLE webbing straps. I really like the look of olive (drab) plate carriers but I don't want a loadout completely olive camo based, so is there any other camos that would perhaps 'go well' with an olive PC? Multicam? Woodland? Any help and opinions are appreciated!

I know what you mean, the screw shape is a little weird and it took me about 20 minutes to locate the correct screwdriver for it. Unfortunately I don't have UKARA so my only option was to get this in the snake tone - personally I prefer it to the Tiger pattern and it actually doesn't look too bad and from a distance it looks like an all black rifle! The photo for some strange reason has made it stand out a bit more. That's a bit strange for them to forget to paint it, lucky you though!

For the MOE rails I used a T-10 Torx screwdriver. I see you've also purchased a GC16; the dust cover leaver on my rifle does have a little wobble to it however I don't think it's anything to worry about. I've found that some reviews of the gun have mentioned about how loose the dust cover is, so it isn't just me and you!

All sorted for my first ever woodland skirmish tomorrow at Holmbush DOGTAG Airsoft (planning on going to the Epsom Tunnels sometime next week for my first ever CQC also)! My sight is zeroed, the hop up is adjusted nicely and all of my attachments are fitted and all mags feed well! Judging from the Facebook page, it looks as if there'll be at least 70 people there so it should be great! I'm optimistic that it'll be dry throughout the day, fingers crossed! :D

Can anyone recommend me a good sight for my rifle? I've looked at the WE 881 holographic sight and Aimpoint T1 sight so far. Has anyone had experience with these? I'd say my budget is about £50

Well... It's slightly better finished than Chock's, yet it still isn't well done IMO.

Didn't have the time to post on Xmas Eve, but I got my rifle! It feels great and the two tone doesn't look too bad! (It's two tone only across the top of the rifle and from a distance it looks like an all black rifle). Haven't had the time to shoot it yet, however the battery is on charge and I plan to shoot it tomorrow morning! Also purchased some gloves, Blaster devil bbs and an extra mag and battery. Not long until my first Skirmish at Holmbush DOGTAG Airsoft in January, so you could say the rifle arrived just in time! (I'm considering purchasing some extra accessories for my gun as well as gear and maybe a secondary). Anyway overall I'm very pleased with my rifle and cannot wait to test it out tomorrow! Also Chock I think the flash hider is meant to be like that as mine is exactly identical to your photo (with the cut out). However, I agree that it's not a smooth finish and isn't well done (at first I thought it was a chip)! Although, I could be wrong and it could just be a coincidence that both of our flash hiders have been damaged.

Far too much chocolate, Iphone speakers and £200 to spend on rifle accessories, gear and possibly a GBB pistol.

Just purchased: - G&G GC16 Mod0 Limited Edition 30th Anniversary rifle. - Spare 300 round high cap mag. - Spare 9.6v battery and charger. - Viper drop leg magazine pouch. - Armoured half finger airsoft gloves. - Blaster Devil 0.25g Green bbs and ASG Blaster 0.23g bbs. Hopefully It all arrives around xmas time and I can attend my first Skirmish with it in January!

I do like the Limited Edition one and that's the one I'll probably end up going for (I also like the full metal '30th Anniversary' stamped receiver)! What I meant was that from reviews of this gun, people have said that it is amazing however the handguard on it feels cheap, it wobbles and the rails on it can chip. I'm obviously not going to replace it straight away and I may not even end up replacing it at all; I was just looking to see what other, more durable handguards will fit if this is the case.

Well I'm debating between this and the CM18. Personally I prefer the look of the limited edition GC16 with the MagPul style handguard. The reason I wanted to upgrade the handguard is because I've seen reviews stating that the handguard wobbles and feels cheap. I've heard a lot of good stuff regarding the CM18, yet I'm not a fan of just pure rails.

From reviews it looks durable and at least it's better than the stock handguard! However, I'm unsure if it'll fit the rifle I'm getting and if there will be space to house the battery. Can anyone confirm my suspicion?

Any guidance would be appreciated! Hoping to also get some accessories and a couple of spare mags for it also!
