  1. Bit late but I've finished modding my serpa and the glock now fits great! Still need to smooth the inside down a little because it's still a little rough, however other than that it's fine. Took about an hour to do in the shed with my dremel haha. Really looking forward to using it this Sunday along with my other new gear! The glock is now black because I've recently acquired a defence (Dad now has UKARA and I originally received the gun as a gift).
  2. When I attempt to put the glock in the holster I can see it's really close to fitting (about a cm away from fitting nicely). It's roughly a cm away from engaging the retention button, and it's the nozzle area of the gun that is too wide for the serpa. Everything else seems to be the correct dimensions, so after dremeling the nozzle area of the serpa a little the gun should fit fine. I'll do this tomorrow morning and will post an update!
  3. Maybe a TM M&P9 or just some multicam clothing (think I'm on the nice list).
  4. I don't think I'll return it because with a small amount of filing and sanding the gun should fit fine. Thanks for the suggestion though!
  5. Ahh that's a relief! I was worried that even with modification the glock still might not fit. I'll use this method tomorrow then, thanks a lot!
  6. So last week I purchased a genuine blackhawk serpa holster for my TM glock 17 and it arrived yesterday. I should've done some basic research before ordering it because the gun is slightly too wide for the holster. I don't really want to have to return it as that would be a hastle and the holster is actually very nice! So are there any simple mods I can do to the holster for it to accomodate the glock? Could I file/sand the inside of the holster down a little using a dremel? I've heard that heating the serpa with a hair dryer can work because it's made of a pliable material, but I'm still not too sure. If anyone has any recommendations then it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  7. UK Tactical again with another special offer - 25% off the Warrior DCS low profile PC with code DCS25.
  8. Seriously loving my new glock! Need to get another pistol at some point so I can dual wield lol. My 'accessories' for it should arrive soon! :D

  9. Hello Niall. Likewise, I'm 5' 10" and I'm also a little on the skinny side. I don't have any experience with the JPC, however I have a warrior DCS plate carrier which (for the price) i'd highly recommend! It's very durable, lightweight and compact and honestly it's a solid piece of kit. I know a few other guys on here have one and I'm sure they'll all agree with me on that. It's a great platform to expand from and they come in a variety of camos. UKtac currently have 20% off all warrior products until Wednesday 4th with code WARRIOR20; and that would be a great opportunity to nab an excellent high quality plate carrier! It's at a competative price with the JPC, but personally I've always gone with warrior every time and I stand by their products for reliability. Hope this was a helpful insight into an alternative plate carrier option. ATB, Will.
  10. Well I took advantage of UK Tac's 20% off all warrior products deal and I got: - Warrior tan riggers belt. - Blackhawk serpa CQC glock holster. - Warrior tactical black pistol lanyard. - Warrior double pisol mag pouch olive drab. - Warrior subdued union jack patch. - Mechanix original covert black gloves. - Helikon olive drab baseball cap. - WE glock magazine. Most of the items above were from UK tac. Another tiny step closer to completing my loadout; Battlefield inspired, of course!
  11. Yeah I heard WE mags are just as reliable as TM mags whilst being slightly cheaper. I'll probably order 2 or 3 at once as postage will be cheaper. Thanks!
  12. Where is the cheapest place to buy mags for a TM G17? The best place I've found so far is from here but I'm not entirely sure if it's the cheapest site. Sorry it's a rather pointless question, but thanks in advance.
  13. Finally got my hands on a TM Glock 17 and it feels and shoots amazingly! Also got some Abbey predator ultra gas and using 0.2 blaster devils. Got it in a matte blue two tone finish, however the paint is already beginning to flake off. I cannot wait to use it in game next week and I'll most likely purchase a serpa holster soon!
  14. Back on the forum! Hadn't attended a skirmish in a while until yesterday, and my god have I missed it! Will be keeping up with airsoft a lot more! 17th bday is soon and that means more airsoft goodness (also only one more year until I can get my UKARA)! :)

  15. I bought a WAS DCS plate carrier in OD a while back. It's great and very lightweight! I also got 3 fast mag pouches with it which accommodate M4 mags perfectly and the pouches are adjustable for width of the magazine anyway. However, I find the DCS to be fairly small though (even for quite a small/thin guy such as myself) . Nevertheless, I'd highly recommend it as WAS products are amaaaazing quality! As for the Ricas compact I don't have any input, but I'm sure someone else on the forum has had experience with it. From UK Tactical it's slightly more expensive than the DCS if I remember correctly. Hope this helped.
  16. Wow thanks for the quick replies! I think I'll go for the TM then haha! I'm not really into all of the Tech work but would be interested in perhaps smallish' mods in the future. I'll go to my local retailer soon and will handle both guns again and hopefully have the chance to test fire them .... And thanks for the offer SeniorSpaz! I'll most definitely be taking the long journey down to the mall this summer!
  17. So.... I have exams throughout this month and once I've finished them, I then have an extended summer so there will be plenty of time for airsoft! I have therefore considered purchasing a sidearm for airsoft and I really like the Glock 17, however I am struggling to decide between the WE and TM. From reviews, It seems to me that the WE has better construction as it has a polymer frame and metal slide, whereas the TM is mostly ABS plastic. I also like the fact that there are CO2 mags available for the WE. However, I have heard that TM have a better QC and so their products are more reliable despite being slightly more expensive? I really am stuck with what to go for arghhh. I want a glock that is reliable, solid, has plenty of after market upgrade parts available and will last me for a long time with proper care. If anyone has had any experience with either of these then their advice would be most appreciated!
  18. Purchased 'em here off ebay from Bullseye Outdoor Sport.
  19. Purchased a 6000 bottle of 0.25 Blaster devil bbs from ebay and when they arrived today they were just Blaster 0.25 bbs. I was still happy using them for my skirmish tomorrow, and then the company realised their mistake and have let me keep this 6000 bottle and have sent me the correct 6000 bottle of bbs for free! Well chuffed! Great customer service.
  20. All prepped for my 3rd skirmish tomorrow! Sight is zeroed nicely and bbs hittin' on the dot. Just hate getting up so early! :/

  21. I almost went for the A-Tacs FG DCS as I'm currently in the process of developing an A-Tacs FG loadout, however I wanted to mix up the camos a bit to make it more interesting. 'Tis a shame that UK Tactical don't have the option to purchase an A-Tacs DCS with the 3 quick mag pouches as they do with the OD DCS :/
  22. Ok thanks! Still a tad unsure about the chord on the warrior pouches, I know they're for adjusting the width of the pouch so that the mag doesn't fall out. Does the chord just tuck away after the pouch is attached to Molle? Sorry for all the nooby questions, there's not a lot of info regarding the WAS pouches on YouTube or the net.
  23. Thanks for that! I guess I've been doing it wrong then. I don't have buttons on my pouches to secure them in place, however the method in the video should still work. Thanks M_P! I'll do that now!
