  1. If it happens on full auto as well, id give your trigger mechanism a good check over, see if there could be anything cutting the circuit accidentally. Check if aby components look worn out or dont fit well
  2. I thought they (or at least some of them) had hard rods in them which werent allowed on some game sites, or am i mistaken?
  3. PLEASE dont do youtube "reviews"; retailers offer extremley biased opinions by their nature. At least call them a "demo" or something. Save the reviews for real buyers who have skirmished the guns and equipment and found all the niggles. Other than that, somewhere to test the guns and some friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff is a must have
  4. Have you opened the gun to check if there is any play in the switch or tappet plate? Is the tappet being put under stress or catching any other parts? It may also be the trigger. Does the trigger cut off briefly on full auto as well? There may be other causes, but those are the ones that come to mind
  5. Could be nothing wrong with it. Are you holding the trigger for the full cycle or releasing it before the bb is fired?
  6. Ive not opened mine up, but if youtube and reviews are accurate, then your box should be pretty well shimmed out of the box. Might still be worth having a look though, after all, tinkering with gear is half the fun of airsoft!
  7. Exactly the reason i take the soft armour out of my osprey mk4, whats the point playing if you wont feel your hits?
  8. My juggernaut suit dissagrees: Edit: this isnt actually my suit. Its just a quick google image to prove to the world i can funny
  9. The earliest day for delivery was today (5 business days), so there must have been some chance of an air freight delivery. The tracking page hasnt updated for a couple of days, so i suspect it may be at a customs check or something
  10. From my experience with law, including university lectures, the only part of law you can be charged against is an Act of parliment, such as the vcrA. I have read the act, thoroughly, and that is all that a prosecutor can reference in any charge against you. Regulations are essentially extentions, so what you have quoted is a guideline, not a law. Besides which. It only offers one way of making an IF. Did you even read what you quoted? It states that a gun not of these colours is not automatically an RIF, but it depends on How realistic it looks
  11. That as well. The only time that these laws would be tested is when someone does something stupid and the investigation ask how you got your RIF
  12. Neither of the first two posts are correct. The VCRA describes an IF as looking unrealistic. You dont need to paint 51 percent, this is just a widely accepted myth. You can paint your gun however you like so long as it does nit appear realistic, either in use or in storage, but the only person that can decide whether or not its "unrealistic" is a firearms expert or someone who wears a red gown and curly wig for a living
  13. 1) someone mentioned a video 2) i dont, and i doubt anyone wants to see that, but it would stop people arguing over details when they can see what happened leading to the shot

    Ukara number ??

My bad, my site membership clearly states that its not a ukara number, and using it as such will get your membership revoked. And as with any ukara post, you are also right that membership alone is indeed a defence. Though nobody knows if it is a sufficient defence (the only people who REALLY know wear a red gown and curly white wig) and you might struggle to find a place to buy an RIF with just a free site membership. Or at least i hope youd struggle...
  15. +1 to lozarts post. Lets wait for more details before appointing blame or judgement. Does anyone have a link to the video?

    Ukara number ??

Your site membership is NOT a UKARA number. Attempting to use your site membershio number to buy an RIF can get you in serious trouble with your site. Just wait your two months and fill the form in
  17. I did exactly what you did, using a small sock (just under 1000 bbs) so it would fit in the largest utility pouch on the vest. And also, keep a knife or small tool handy when you wear that vest. The zip on mine has broken twice, leaving me no way to remove the vest cutting the bottom tooth off the zip fixed it, but its easier to do this at home with tools than at the boot of your car in the woods with a cheap screwdriver
  18. The battery shouldnt affect fps, maybe it just needed a good clean and some tlc
  19. Has anybody ordered from china (or that part of the world) regularly through amazon? I ordered some camo gear coz i didnt pay attention to where it was shipped from, and it has given me a delivery window of about a month Are Chinese/hong kong deliveries really this unreliable? Can i expect my purchase any time soon? Thanks
  20. Could be really bad air seal perhaps? Or an obstructed/very dirty barrel
  21. It might get to the point where you need to pass a gun-safety test before you can buy an RIF (or even an IF), some way to make sure that the only people who get shot for waving a toy gun around are the pricks who deserve it, rather than the kids that dont know better. Call it the common-sense test
  22. I was trying to keep it a little more neutral and PC, but that does just about sum up my thoughts
  23. More to the point, he was using it to scare people in public (perhaps deliberatley?) So what did he expect? And even more on point, where were his parents/guardians?
